The Westgate Myrtle Beach hotel was amazing. The pools were clean and warm. My daughter and I loved how the hotel was on the beach. The food was great. The service for the food was quick and the waiters were nice. It is such a safe, clean, and very pretty place. When we were coming back from a restaurant we saw this magician who was very energetic and was so entertaining, I was entertained myself and I am an adult. I would definitely come back again

I enjoyed the coastal view and balcony experiences. Didn't necessarily like that 2 bedroom suite was not all encompassing. Two single bedroom suites were joined together through connecting doors. Felt somewhat isolated from my dad. But overall, nice experience. Oh one other thing, it would have been nice to have detergent available for washing machines.

I loved the room and the amenities. being a pet friendly resort, I would have liked better places to take my dog out. There were very little grassy areas. I also felt the 150.00 cleaning fee was excessive. I know that many people are probably not careful, but I am. I am fairly sure the cleaning staff didn't have to do much more with my room than a regular room and I was there for only 2 nights. That would deter me from going back if I needed to take my two very small dogs who I kept in a kennel when they were alone in the room. Having some tiered options would be great.

Property was decent. Only one hot tub for the entire resort was always full at night. Five dollars for a Gatorade in the vending vending machines is stupid and $17 for a small bottle of Advil is just plain theft.

The room’s bed was absolutely atrocious! Lumpy and with huge indentations on either side. The side table was dirty. The receptionist was rude and unfriendly. The noise level was ridiculously loud until almost midnight. I have never ever complained about a hotel. But this was possibly the worst stay of my life. They deserve a zero rating. Hotels.com as a reputable company, I would never take reservations for this hotel.

This is my first time booking with Westgate. The staffs were very accommodating, professional, and were easy to contact. Nice and easy walk to the beach and all the hotel amenities.
Hotel provided beach chairs, life jackets and floats for the pool.
I do not like that they are no housekeeping to clean the rooms and change the sheets on the beds.
Overall it was a great experience.

Reservation messed up by miscommunication representative. Finally got to the hotel where I would tell representative Nadia was able to accommodate us with a different room. Just so happened that this particular room caused trigger the respiratory failure.
Luckily staff was able to change my room to the previous room requested.
We did have unwelcoming guess enter into our room without notification or consent. Never received an open apology from this organization for a violation of privacy. With all this being said I needed another day to revamp and book another night.
Nevertheless I still try my best to make it a pleasant experience.
