Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Pool area looked clean (did not go in). The front desk at check in and check out was extremely friendly and courteous. Plenty of eating establishments around. There is a walking/running path with a couple of ponds out back. The hotel is only a couple of miles from Dulles. Our room was on the back side of the hotel and arriving planes were coming in right outside our window. Pretty cool! Plenty of parking also.

Parking was limited due to buses being saved spaces in the front of building. Problem was only two spaces available, and my car could not fit in it, due to the size of the cars around them.

Had large portions of the parking lot taped off and a truck taking up at least 5 spaces. One entry door was out of service causing guest to walk around half the building to get in. Card key worked on initial entry, then I had to walk back to the front desk 3 times before I got a working card. Attendant working by herself at what seemed to be a peak time. I would never have expected a hotel in this area to be this bad.

I booked at Chantilly Wingate because I had to fly out of Dulles International early in the morn. When Inwas searching using Hotels.com this hotel said it had airport shuttle service. When I checked in I was told the service did not start until 7am. I needed to be at the airport by 5:30am. No where in the Hotels.com description was this evident. I couldn't go anywhere else because the reservation was no refundable. Now I have to pay $20+ to get to the airport 10 minutes away. Also a to go bag with a quick snack would be nice when you cannot take advantage of the breakfast offered. Don't expect anything special here at Chantilly Wingate.

Hotel charges $20 per hour for clients arriving before 3pm. This is unfair and cheating the public.
They should tell people during online registration otherwise why wait for empty rooms until 3pm if your arrive @11 or so.
Please inform your clients or inform the hotel to change this bad business behavior. Thank you.

If you are dependent on having wifi you will want to stay somewhere else. To get wifi you have to be in the lobby. It does not reach the rooms. It seems a bit pricy for the caliber of hotel but tgen every hotel seems spendy in DC especially around airports. On the plus side, there is an indoor pool and a jacuzzi although there was a sign for the two days I stayed saying it was closed for maintenance. The shuttle leaves only on the hour but the drivers were very nice and helpful and bonus the will drop you at the air museum on the way back to the hotel and pick you up. A worthy endeavor if you have time for it.

I enjoyed walking around the pond. That was nice - however, they advertise that you can buy wine from their market yet there was no one in the property authorized to sell it. Also, the opportunity for coffee expires with breakfast time - most places allow coffee to be available throughout the morning. Also- hotel was noisy with outside noises. Beds not comfortable.
