Wonder View Inn

Our stay at the Wonder View Inn was great! It was close enough to downtown without being in the craziness.

Great place to stay! Fast check in and helpful staff.

Moldy room with smell. It's old and it shows.

Great view and large rooms!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property was well maintained. No breakfast was provided but there is a good restaurant on the property. Our room was huge and had a balcony, but all we could see were the leaves of the trees right in front of it.

We enjoyed the amenities shared with the Bluenose Inn. The beds were quite comfortable. We also enjoyed the pianist in the evenings. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are close.

Quiet area easy walk to town for shopping and restaurants. Lots of parking. Friendly, helpful staff

Wonder View Inn was amazing! Clean, friendly staff, beautiful views, perfectly manicured property, close to restaurants, shopping, and Acadia. Highly recommend!

Only problem is that there are no black out shades on windows so outside light at night and early morning is disturbing to sleep.

This place was solidly ok. There was a definite lack of communication between the staff - one staff member would tell us one thing and the next would completely contradict what the other would say which was a bit frustrating, especially when trying to make plans for our visit. Although they didn’t communicate anmongst their team well, all of the staff we dealt with were still very polite, professional, and friendly. We were quite disappointed that the hot tub was unavailable for our entire stay, as it was a main factor in our decision to book the wonder view over other nicer options in the area. Would have been nice to know ahead of time that not all of the amenities would be available. The water in our room took a long time to heat up, and the sink took a long time to drain (the sink would fill up all the way before the water could get hot and then you’d have to turn it off so it didn’t overflow, then wait for it to drain before turning it back on to continue warming up which was annoying). Once it warmed up though, water was hot and stayed hot. Aside from the negatives explained above, the bed and pillows were comfy, restaurant had a nice view, and the room served its general purpose. We weren’t in there much since we were there to explore Acadia and not there solely for the hotel. All in all, Wonder View was just ok in our opinion. Hard to say if we would stay there again or recommend it to others - it wasn’t horrible, but it also wasn’t amazing. Just ok

If you can get a bay view room the view is nice but the hotel itself is quite outdated and most of the amenities weren’t working properly during my stay. The heating was out on the hot tub and pool so both were freezing and the bar was only open on the weekend despite having a sign saying it’s open Monday-Saturday. Overall not a bad experience but probably should be priced lower.

A little nosey at night , room could use a little TLC , but it was very clean .

It's a short walk to town but You're up on a small hill. And you could see the sunrise before anybody else in the country, right from your porch! Beds were comfortable. The shower was great. I can't say anything negative.And the price was right

The view from the glass top restaurant was truly wonderful. The room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful.
