Very convenient to the El Portal entrance to the park. Our room overlooking the river was spacious, clean and comfortable. The River Restaurant had a good breakfast and dinner. We also ate at the pizza place one evening and it was good as well. We enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect spot for a couple's or family getaway to Yosemite National Park. Other than the spotty WiFi, everything else was excellent.

We didn’t like that the pizza is served in the box and that you charge extra for a second trip to a very modest salad bar with a very small plate. Room was clean and the view was great, but I feel dining options can be enhanced for the cost of the room.

I loved the river rushing behind the property! I intended to leave the door open to sleep to the sound of the river, UNTIL a giant mosquito came in!
The food is disgraceful. Such a lovely lodge owes the guests a far better menu.

Hotel located 5 minutes away from Yosemite park entrance, very scenic view of mountains, the river view rooms are absolutely breathtaking, beauty cannot be described in words. Very good size rooms and river facing balcony is like cherry on cake.

Excellent location but everything else is average or below. The property is showing its age and lack of maintenance.
Our room had a faulty toilet seat, broken door fitting, broken toaster, faulty frodge, broken beds.

Loved the 'river' view of the Merced River. Did not need the jacuzzi tub: we don't do that. Recommend the shower floor have a non-skid surface to avoid someone slipping in the shower.
