Great choice for both young working locals and foreign nomads, especially if you are on a budget looking for a long-term stay in the most densely-packed area of HCM city. Khoi hostel as a homestay offers basic services and facilities that are sufficient enough even if one plans to live here years, to work, and to explore. There is no better homestay hostel around the area for a savvy but educated person of exquisite taste who does not want to depart from a highly cultural environment, while at the same time desires a strong “kick” of freedom for his/her life. What’s more, the owner of this place is a very cool and lax lady who will make you feel comfortable and at home as if you are living in the house of your own sister.

I booked 1 room and shared wc, small but nice and clean room, shared wc is also very clean. Included breakfast and very friendly staff. The location near the amusement parks in District 1 is always: Bui Vien, Saigon Center, Vincom, Nguyen Hue, ... are all within walking distance.

Most of them are foreign tourists. Location near Bui Vien, although in the alley must send the car elsewhere but no problem with the backpacker. The service attitude is very good, the rooms are relatively affordable, the plus point is breakfast.

My room cost 350k VND/night on the 5th day of Tet (Lunar New Year), it's a 2-minute walk to Bui Vien Street, the staff are lovely, luggage is safe, the price is good, and the shared bathroom is clean and comfortable. Thanks to the hotel.

Well, with such a very cheap price, I don't expect much, but... - bad hygiene, ants everywhere! -The room is tiny, even though it says it has a window, but my room has a view of the laundry room so it's as secretive as a storage room. - There is no elevator so it would be very inconvenient to carry a suitcase upstairs. - Is the tiny refrigerator still broken or something? I left the bottle of water with the cake and the next day it was all hot like a broken oven! T.T

* Not choose this khoi hostel *the front of hotel still renovating, our room it ground floor aisle to upstairs, the front of room was get stuck by a lot if stuff kept, the voice from peoples going up and down, outside beside the window, noisy from construction started from 7am till 12noon check out, no need to complain at the front desk, they don't care.

Should dodge if there is another choice. The rooms are rickety, the electronics are damaged. Hot water can't be used, but it's hot in Saigon, so temporarily accepted. The air conditioner stayed for 1 day and it was broken and melted fat. In the alley so there is no view at all. The good thing is that the owner is also cute, but not on duty at the hostel, every time I have a problem, I have to wait a long time because the owner is outside. Generally not recommended here.

The accommodation is right next to the market, early in the morning everyone can go to the market to buy breakfast and explore Ho Chi Minh cuisine. The host is super friendly, we fly late at night, let me check in early from 4am.
