The hotel is very aesthetic and pretty. The staff is very friendly. The location is a little hard to find for the first time, but the staff is very helpful and come to pick up us. The hotel doesn't have lift. But overall, the room is very pretty and comfortable. I will stay here again if i come to Hanoi.

Each room at Maison d'Orient, elegantly furnished and decorated in Hanoian style, has it own bathroom and all the equipment of a true charming hotel: very comfortable single or queen-size beds, salon table with tea and coffee set, closet, minibar, Wifi, cable Led television with international channels, bathroom with shower (some with bathtub) and other touches of a high-quality establishment. Each bedroom bears the name of a local spice: star anise, cinnamon, lemongrass, ginger, etc., and its air perfumed with fresh extract of those spices.The hotel counts also a pleasant breakfast room on a mezzanine with large window on the lane. Location is perfect, staff are great, cleanliness and conditions are not great in the rooms; floors, bathroom is a lil rusty, but most importantly the bed is nice and the air conditioning works well. Very very quiet, would definitely come again.

Maison D'Orient is a bijou budget hotel in the heart of Hanoi Old town. It has been sensitively and beautifully decorated with vintage flair in a relaxed mid century Vietnamese style. It is a good value 2 star hotel in an excellent location. The staff are lovely and very helpful arranging tours, transfers and outings. It is a small hotel, this makes it very personal, very friendly. The breakfast room is great, food is good and atmosphere very convivial. The interior could use a new coat of paint but otherwise we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the location is perfect. Yes there are some stairs but if your knees work it's fine! We recommend it.

Tiny hotel located in an alley off of an alley - hard to find initially. Excellent location. Helpful staff. Clean room. No elevator. OK breakfast was included. Everything worked: hot water, AC, WiFi. No complaints. Would consider staying here again.

Very cute property and good value for the money but property is about tired. Mildewed walls, room was dusty even though they had just reopened after being closed for Tet (we know because our first booking was cancelled with short notice even though I booked far in advance because I know Tet is very busy. Staff are lovely and breakfast was very nice. Good location in Old Quarter.
