Rock Villa Hoi An

Loved this place! The staff were all so friendly & helpful, the room, the breakfast, the beautiful garden, the pool! The property was so well looked after, as were we. We stayed for 4 nights & didn't want to leave, felt so safe & relaxed here! Free bikes, 20 minutes cycle into town, or 15 minutes to the beach, a taxi costs about 50,000d from the old town if you plan to stay out later :) loved Rock Villa!

Great location for exploring Hoi An outside of the old-town. Room was large and comfortable, the pool and grounds are worth exploring. The wifi was OK, this maybe could be improved in the future, but the staff are very helpful.

Super easy to get to which is good as they are a good half hour walk outside of Hoi An. They picked my wife and I up from our hotel in Danang. Arranged taxis to the Marble Mountain, Hoi An and the train station back in Danang. They also booked our train tickets to Hue for us too. The staff is very friendly and their english is good. The place is clean. I would think it would be awesome for families as the area is quiet. Bicyles are available to ride all around the surronding area. Breakfast is huge. The only drawback is that you find lunch and dinner off site which could be a bit of a walk (or you could take a taxi to town). Would definitely stay therw again.

Perfect place to stay just outside of the busy Hoi An area. Mrs Tram and staff had excellent service, very friendly and great recommendations. Everything you need and more!

The service from the staff at Rock Villa was 10/10, they were so helpful and lovely. They arranged for our laundry to get done as well as arranged our airport transfer. It's a 15 min bike ride into the old town or the beach from the Villa, but there is not a lot of shops or restaurants within walking distance, as it's quite isolated. The beds are quite firm (like many Vietnamese beds) and you have to remember to switch the immersion heater on 15 mins before you want a shower.

Friendly & helpful staff. Lovely garden area by outdoor dining area. Excellent food....try the fish with butter. Lots of suggestions on what to do in the area. Called taxi when needed...discussed price etc. overall a great place to stay!! Would easily book there again!! Loved our stay! Walk to town about 2 miles. Great coffee!

Lovely people; genuine, kind and generous. You almost don't need to eat anything for the rest of the day because they feed you so much at breakfast!! 😬Rent 🏍for $6 or free bikes to get into town or to the beach. It's quiet, almost like you're in the country. The hotel staff was the best part, really. Thank you for everything! It was my favorite stay so far in Vietnam. -Anthony, and sorry about Trump 👎🏻

We had a large beautiful room with big windows and a huge balcony. I loved the hotel architecture too as it kept a natural feel that blended perfectly with the nature around it. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The only recommendation would be to put at least a curtain that separates the shower from the toilet.

I highly recommend this place. The manager Tram was super nice and extremely helpful; she was very efficient and gave us many good suggestions. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was always excellent; we even had lunch when we arrived because we were too tired and the food was delicious. Bikes were available and Tram arranged transportation for us to go to Hue. The hotel is close to Hoi an City center, the beach and many restaurants ( we biked everywhere). We were planning to stay 2 nights but we decided to stay one more night! All the staff was great, I would come back with no hesitation. Thank you Tram!

A quiet spot by the river with easy access to the beach and the ancient town. Free bicycles and scooters for rent. This is a small and very comfortable hotel with your choice for breakfast and lunch and dinner available on request. Great TV and wifi, a lovely garden and pool. Outstanding hospitality from your lovely hosts. Highly recommended for a restful stay in fabulous Hoi An.

Ms Tram and her team made it a very pleasant stay - staff were on site any hour of the day and always ready to help guests out. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads. Major attractions such as the Hoi An Old Quarters and An Bang beach were accessible via bicycles (10-15 mins ride) which can be rented for free from the hotel. Half day cooking classes and day trip to Cham Island can also be organised with pickup/dropoff directly at the hotel. Spent a couple of lovely afternoons reading on the comfortable deck chairs at the garden or poolside. In-room massage service is also available, reducing the need to travel out. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to return again someday!

The actual hotel is beautifully presented in an amazing setting, the service was exceptional from the whole team, they helped with tours, directions, things to do and English was really well spoken. Location is pretty much bang in between the main town and the beach but the free bicycles mean this is no problem at all or a $2 taxi ride can be arranged. i actually walked to town a couple pf times in about 25 mins. Can't reccomend this place enough it was fabulous, will definitely return.

Lovely B&B.Comfortable clean place,outside of town.Though you have use of free bicycles for 15 minute ride to either beaches or old town center.Few restaurants close by.Very caring staff,helpful and friendly.Worth staying

Hotel is nestle in the quieter part of town, midway between the town and beach, and will require either a bicycle or motorbike ride to either of these two locations. Tour buses can't stop by in front of the hotel since the lanes are too narrow. You'll have to paid for motorbike taxi, or hire a bike (chargeable) or borrow a bike (free). Aside from transportation, the hotel is very well looked after, the staff are friendly.

We had a wonderful time staying at Mrs Tran's Rock Villa! All of the staff were v helpful, organising taxis to and from Hoi An (it's about a 10 min ride from the hotel), providing us with free cycle hire (a great way to travel around Hoi An, which can be covered in a 10k round journey) and cooking delicious breakfasts! The room was large, with a walk-in shower and double bed, whilst there is also a small pool which provides some welcome relief from the Hoi An heat. Thoroughly recommended to anyone looking to stay in Hoi An.

We stayed for three nights with two adults and our three children (10, 12, and 15) and loved the hotel itself, the staff and the overall experience. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We also enjoyed the 10 min bike rides into town, but most importantly found this "garden oasis" peaceful and relaxing. We highly recommend Rock Villa Hotel!

Never felt like a hotel. Staff so friendly, such a relaxing place in stunning setting. Rooms are really attractive as are all the hotel grounds. Breakfast massive with good choice, free bike hire, lovely pool... could go on & on. Simply brilliant!

Passing a few days in Hoi An, I was impressed with Tram and her team at Rock Villa. It is a bit out of the main part of town, in between the town center and the beach, this was a great location for people who want to relax. The villa provides free bicycles and motorbikes for rent at $6 per day. They also provided us airport transport to Danang (under $20USD). The villa has a deal with one of the restaurants on the beach, where you can get an umbrella and cushioned chair for free, as well as eat at the restaurant. This particular part of the beach was affected by the storm, so you don't really sit on the beach, but on the raised up platform that overlooks the ocean. It makes for a lovely afternoon though. The rooms, I believe there are only seven, are really clean and lovely. The only complaint would be about the shower heat, which didn't seem to last long, but the spectacular service, the delicious breakfast, and the staff's willingness to go above and beyond for us overrode any complaints we could have. If you need anything here, just ask, and they will help! Thanks again to Tram for making our stay amazing.

Highly recommended place to stay when in hoi an! Very hospitable bunch. Ms Tram is an absolute Joy! The Rock Villa is set in a gorgeous place - once side looks out onto a river and the other onto a rice field. You feel like your living with the locals (which you are). The rooms are beautifully decorated and very homey. Will definitely be back.
