S Central Hotel & Spa

The staff was amazing! They spoke english and helped arrange transportation to and from the airport for us. They were able to help book us a tour for Ha Long Bay. They gave us welcoming drinks and snacks as we waited for our room and then helped bring up our luggages to the room.

We found this hotel at the very last minute in the Old Quarters. The hotel staff were very accommodating and professional. The location is very convenient but please be aware that cars/vans won’t be able to drop you off in front of the hotel due to a small alley. The room is tight but enough for a family of 5. The bathroom is very small and the shower was missing a glass screen so every time you showered the entire bathroom will be wet. The breakfast that came with the room has a wide variety of food and it was pretty good. Overall the hotel is good for a quick night stay for its convenience.

The room is big and has a lot space to walk around. The room was very nice and clean. There was a balcony and cross street is St. Joseph's Cathedral, and it's very beautiful Church. We lived in down town Hanoi. It is very convenient. There were a lot of restaurant and coffee shop.

I used this hotel for 4 hours stay. It was very easy to arrange the time. I could leave my luggage and walk around before check in time as well. If you need some rest or take a shower before getting on a sleepover train, I would definitely recommend.

We received a very good service from the hotel crew from the moment we first arrived till we checked out. They were very attentive and helpful. Especially Lisa, in the reception, which was very patient, intelligent and had a very good English so she could and help us connect some very good activities in the area.

It’s located in Hoan Kiem so everything is small. The room come with two double beds, which is perfect for two adults and two kids. However, they will charge you for the fourth kid. Kids under 18 have to stay with parents do not apply here. Free breakfast was serve in a tiny space in the reception area, I didn’t eat it so don’t even know the food but just the service area and the food display wasn’t appetizer at all. Bathroom was also tiny and not too clean also. The only good thing was the two beds and the sleeping area, clean and roomy, just like the picture I saw online. I won’t come back here though. But I think most of the hotels nearby are the same since it’s in this area and the price was pretty cheap. We only stay one night so I didn’t care.

Our first stop on our Vietnam vacation was Hanoi. I did a quick search for a hotel on my phone as we were boarding the plane. This hotel popped up as recommended and I am so thankful it did. The staff was amazing and friendly, and so giving. From the minute we walked in the door we were treated like VIP and family. Chris, Hai, Dong, and Phuong were the ones we mostly communicated with and they were so helpful. Not only was the hotel clean and comfortable with large rooms, but they also helped us plan our trip to Bai Tu Long Bay and got us a really great deal with an amazing room! This is the perfect location (Old Quarter) for travelers looking to experience the shopping, markets, and local food. You’re close to EVERYTHING! On our way out of Vietnam we stopped in Hanoi for an hour to do some quick shopping. We arrived at S Central to ask for a favor. They were more than willing to hold our bags for us and get us a ride to the airport. They made sure our belongings were safe and helped us get out of Hanoi right on time. Hai also gave us a very thoughtful parting gift and welcomed us back anytime. If you’re looking for a hotel for a great rate, great care, and in a great location you will not be disappointed with S Central! We will be back again for sure!

Great location in the center of old town. The staff was very helpful with recommendations on things to do, places to eat, sites to see, transportation, and everything else I needed. The free breakfast was perfect to start the day.

The staff is very attentive to whatever you need and their efficiency and kindness made a three star hotel seem like a five star and the location was perfect for us to walk almost everywhere we went.

Geat location, near St. Joseph Cathedral, wonderful place to explore Old Quarter. In a small alley so it's quieter. The staff was always very helpful and accomodating.

Receptionists at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, very prompt to answer our questions and requests. The location was great, just close enough to Hoan Kiem lake, but not as noisy as the surrounding hotels. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, albeit small for taller people.

We had a very nice room with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom and shower. Good wifi was included and the location was fine. It was a great value and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

I arrived hotel very late and I was surprised to see the hotel’s location and neighborhood. But I realized that that’s very common in Hanoi. I was treated with kindness and smiles. The staff were very professional and helpful. Especially, Dong and Rachel were always there with helping hands. Breakfast was delicious. My room was newly renovated and clean.

Hotel is in a good location. Everything's is ok but the house keeping certainly needs improvement. On day 1. Was toothbrush was thrown away by the house keeper. On day 2 I used the ones provided by the hotel and its was thrown away as well. I dont really care if they throw the free ones away. But if they are not clear of who's it is. They should have kept it there.

The hotel was conveniently located in the old French quarter of Hanoi, right next to the Cathedral and walking distance to the lake. Plenty of shops and good restaurants/cafes nearby as well. The staff is also very friendly and hospitable. They assisted us with everything we requested from show tickets to day trips. Great place to stay and highly recommended for families.
