Staff offered little service. Renting a car is a must.

My stay was absolutely wonderful, this resort is like waking up in Paradise. The ocean views, food, drinks service, and workers was just a delight and can’t wait to go back.

This is a good resort for the price. Overall, it is a nice property, however, it is in need of some maintenance. The food is good, as are the servers, but they are understaffed. The front desk staff is mediocre, depending on who is working. The beachfront is beautiful and is a great place to relax. Overall, it is a good resort that simply needs some attention. If given the proper attention, this place could be fantastic. We would return as the location is fantastic and the price is quite reasonable.

We had a very relaxing stay here and the staff was friendly. Overall, we would recommend staying here (be sure to rent a car for this location). One evening, the cook went home early so we were unable to get food, which was problematic since the resort is so secluded from the rest of the island.

2 Star hotel at best! VERY old and is in need of a MAJOR overhaul! Dining options are a joke and WAY overpriced for such poor quality! Staff were nice and room was great, but hotel overall was not up to the Marriott standard.

I’m usually pretty satisfied and happy but service is big for me I can deal with most other things and not really care much. The service was a 1 of 10 and I mean that wholeheartedly. The staff had no idea what was going on, they had no recommendations, didn’t know where things were, what other options were available since most of their stuff was short staffed and over booked. No snacks or small shop at all in the resort you had to pay $40 for one or $80 for two people to get ti a market 20 min away. The cab drivers are slim pickings you have to scheduled at least 1 hour in advance or you’re stuck there pretty much. When we asked for cabs that weren’t with the hotel the front desk told us there wasn’t any which was a lie we found out the last day we stayed. We ate at the bar on the resort and I can’t make this up we ordered two apps and two meals crab cakes and fish bites than a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger… it took 1.5 hour for the apps but they came after the meals lol which took about an hour and 20 min. I asked the waitress 4 diff times and on the fourth try when I walked to the waitress table she asked me what we had and was typing it in right there so assuming she never put out orders in… we were there because we had a few drinks so time kind of kept passing a s she kept saying it would be a couple more minutes they had empty tables and about 5 waitresses so they were staffed for the little crowd. The next day we went (can’t even add all the staffing issues here.

The property is in a beautiful location. We loved the charm of the decor and thought the rooms were spacious and lovely. Some minor repairs could improve the place overall such as some of the outdoor seats were broken and a lamp was missing from our room. The food at both the bar and restaurant was excellent and the service was also very good. We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer. One point that could have been better was check in. We arrived at 4pm, but our room wasn't ready. They told me they would call when it was ready. We went back after 45 minutes, and it still wasn't ready. I told the front desk agent that I did not have cell service but could receive text messages as I was connected to WiFi. At 5:40, we went back again and was told the room was ready and that they tried calling me twice. I did not have any missed calls and was frustrated considering I had told the agent I couldn't receive calls. When we got to our room around 5:45, the keys did not work, so we had to go back again to the front desk to get them fixed. A solution is for the hotel to have an app that allows messaging and has general information. Other people were frustrated because during check in the front desk is very busy and they aren't able to answer the phone. Having information that many people need in the app would have been so helpful- like information about the hotel as well as taxi numbers. A convenience store is also needed considering the location.

Stayed here for 4 days. Majority of the staff is unpleasant. The facility can use some updating but overall was satisfactory. The view is very beautiful, the island is beautiful I will definitely come back to st.croix but I will absolutely not come to this resort or recommend it to anyone. You need a vehicle to go out because taxi is very expensive it’s 20 per person back and forth. The food options are at a minimum with only a breakfast buffet for $32 and a bar that doesn’t stay open late which is bizarre being that it’s a resort. Overall the stay here was horrible but the island itself is beyond beautiful.

The only things I liked about this property was the fact that it was on the beach and that the rooms are a decent size. I had many issues with my room and the service was average. This resort was below average it was not worth the price paid. I will not stay here again.

The facilities were dated but well kept. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I sent you various impoertant complaints. No one from the property contacted us and nothing was fixed. We are still asking for a fill refund. 30th anniversary ruined

The property is beautiful and our room was luxurious. The rest of the property was high-end as well. The issue was with amenities. There is no hot tub as pictured on their website, it was filled in. The only breakfast available is in their restaurant, basically a continental with an omelet station, for $32. We did not rent a car, so we had no choice on food unless we wanted to pay $15-$20 a head for a taxi. It seems the taxi business there is a racket. There is no "convenience" store on site for basic necessities or drinks, just what their bar and restaurant offer. Besides the beach and pool, there were no other activities offered. If you're just looking to get away, this secluded "resort" will do.

Everything was great about this tour. Captain Curtis and his First Mate Joe were fantastic. They made it fun with music, dancing, food, snorkeling, etc... If you are in Saint Croix stop by and visit them for a tour.

The property had a beautiful beach and view. The buildings were older and could use some upkeep. The area is not walkable to anything off the resort so it requires transportation.

Amazing resort! It was like a dream. Highly recommend
