The Palms at Pelican Cove

This property has potential but needs major maintenance.

Not what i expected from a potential resort or even a hotel at the beach

Very nice view of the ocean from the rooms balcony. Great area to start and end the day.

Quiet loved the beach view every morning .

Very nice place, very comfortable bed, in a very very beautiful beach. The property needs updates. But room and area were clean, room and batroom were spacious, and nice staff. To go to other places, must use VI or rent a car. We used VI (St Croix uber) and it was super nice.

For the price it is a good option. The room was spacious. I really enjoyed my time there. The breakfast and the cocktails were good. Liked the beach and the pool was very clean. It was very relaxing. I would stay there again. The downside is that there are no places to eat or visit walking distance.

Friendly staff, quiet location, and accessible beach a few steps away. The breakfast had a touch of carribbean love and our late check out was no problem. We'll be back!

It was a great stay everything and everyone was great

Beach front stay was good.

Although the woman at the front desk waa nice, the moment we walked into our room the smell of mold and mustiness was overwhelming. The air conditioner was on but not cooling or drying the room. The bedding felt damp. The roomlooked clean and the bathroom looked newer , but the smell....

1. This property has no upkeep. 2. The property sold in March but the new owner kept the old management. 3. The beach is lacking and has so much sargassum in and out of the water. 4. I complained to Expedia on Tuesday after we had spent 3 days at a resort that didn’t resemble the pictures online. This resort has no amenities and the restaurant/bar staff aren’t interested in the paying customers. 4. The manager, a desk clerk and security came to our room after Expedia contacted them. The manager was very defensive and blamed the previous owners. They showed me other rooms but they were all the same quality with different issues. 5. I declined to change at this point. 6. We paid to use another resorts facilities the rest of the week. We left at daylight and came back at dusk. 7. The owner did offer a free lunch or breakfast and I declined. I informed her I felt like I had been scammed. They said they understood but still blamed the previous owners which her mother was partners with according to her. 8. I hope the new owners can turn this place around. I would not return to this resort.

We only stayed one night but staff was really friendly and the pool and ocean views were amazing.

The property seems to have been something pretty decent years ago, but not now and for the money being spent it does not quantify.

Unsafe and disgusting property

This place should be torn down it's literally falling apart, dirty and discussing, water damage, broken glass and garbage throughout property. Everything about this place on Expedia pics is a complete lie. Wish I could post the pics I took on this review most people would be horrified

We enjoyed our stay at the Palms. Great location. They had nightly entertainment by the pool/bar area. The rooms were separated from that area so they were nice and quiet. Rooms were clean but need a slight update - perfect for a beach getaway. The AC in our room rocked! Staff was helpful and attentive. Compliments to the chef!

Our room had a private patio with a beautiful ocean view. The property was old and worn, but they were working on fixing some of the problems mentioned in previous reviews while we were there. The food and drinks were terrific and the service was laid back and friendly. Apparently we were there during a very slow week and there were very few guests around and it was actually too quiet, verging on depressing at times. This was a shame because the hotel made a good effort to provide entertainment - relaxing island music and a Moko Jumbie show. Definitely rent a car so you can get out of the area and explore. I enjoyed the peacefulness. I would have liked chairs on the beach. A lot of the beach is rocky. The view was gorgeous from my oceanfront room. Food was good at the restaurant.
