The staff were lovely and very friendly. The hotel is nice and renovated. The beds are comfy and bathrooms are clean. The only issue is if your on the first floor you can hear the people above you walking as their floors are creaky! The walls are thin too but otherwise very clean and convenient hotel. The breakfast is great and the pub is very convenient.

Arrived at hotel and finally found check in. No record of my booking so showed reservation on app. Despite being almost empty they said they only had a standard twin available. Room wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t the deluxe double I’d booked and paid for.
Food was ok. Service very good.
