Names must match passengers' travel documents. If not, the airline may refuse you to board or charge additional fees.
Identify your first and last name using Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) on your passport. Find it at the bottom section on your passport page, the one with your name, and with a lot of << symbols. Only the leftmost part represents your last name and should be filled in the Last Name column. The remaining part should be filled in the First Name column.
Important Notice
Please enter the passenger's name, gender, date of birth, and ID number (if the ID includes these) exactly as they appear on the government-issued photo identification to be provided to airline officials at check-in. Modifications of passenger information after submission are often not permitted, or may incur an additional fee.
Please ensure the ID is valid for at least 6 months after the date of departure.
How should I enter my middle name?
Please enter your middle name in line with the name displayed on your travel documents, such as a passport or ID card. If your documents do not have a middle name, there is no need to enter one, and it will not affect your travel. However, if your documents do have a middle name, please make sure to enter it in the "Given names" field on the passenger information page.
What about special characters in names?
Special characters like accents, hyphens, or other punctuation marks are not accepted for either surnames or given names.
What should I do if I only have one name or don't have a last name (surname)?
When booking flights with certain airlines, you can check the "This passenger has a single name" box, which allows you to enter only one name.
