It's fun to go to Yogyakarta at least once and watch a ballet theater like this, 90% of the members are foreigners... We are proud of our country's culture.

The ladies who guided us from the ticket exchange counter were so friendly! Aaa, they're so precious. We were immediately greeted warmly and served secang/wedang (a drink I've forgotten what it's called). The event was very lively, and I really enjoyed the fire show. very entertaining & impressive for me as a local (i'm from Jakarta). beautiful & quite easily digestible story. if possible i hope some facilities, like the playground & toilets, can be upgraded.

Entire staff was super helpful. The performance was fantastic & very captivating. The written explanation was a bit confusing at first but as the performance progressed, the plot and the description aligned. Maybe a longer introduction to each character would be helpful (who is who). A gentle forewarning about the fire and smoke would also be a great addition, as well as a brief overview of what gets burned and what the evacuation plan is for emergency situations (maybe on a pamphlet). Overall, it was so enthralling and I would definitely recommend!

The show was really exciting. The only downside is that the prices at the cafe are expensive. Next time, I need to see it again with a different wayang story. For improvements, I'd like to provide spotlights for the wayang actors so the show will be more lively.
