best & worth coming to the national zoo even on weekends.. lots of people but not too crowded & staff also help when queuing to get tickets

My son (4 y/o) really enjoyed the Children World where he can touch the animals there.

Interesting experience throughout the half day journey with the kids.. The place is clean.. Just need to add more dustbin

I bought a ticket at a higher price, but it turns out the panda isn't there.

The zoo is complete, all the animals are there.

The place is very spacious and clean.. but I was disappointed because I bought a ticket to see the pandas but the pandas were empty.. it would be better if the information was updated immediately on this application.

Went on 23/11/25 World Children's Day.. Alhamdulillah it was made easy, the way to redeem tickets was also very easy. There were only a few people. Because it was Children's Day. BTW the kids were also very happy to get a ride near the national zoo., I was just sad that I couldn't meet pandas Chen Xing and Xiao Yue.

A very valuable experience for the children..

Had fun strolling around Zoo Negara, average time spent is 5-6 hours since it is the biggest zoo in Malaysia. Be prepared to bring hand held fan, hats, sunscreen, tumbler (there are a few water dispenser around) and insect repellents. There are also passport stamp collections at a few famous animal spots ( eg; tiger, sunbear, porcupine, tapir, orang utan, elephant etc..) Show time is 11am and 3pm. Tram ride requires extra fees about RM11+. Stay hydrated and have fun!

Zoo Negara with many animals, animal show, clean environment, friendly staffs. The kids are excited to see live animals, hippopotamus, rhino, tiger, elephant, capybara, giraffes, flying fox, monkey, reptiles, crocodiles, tortoise, penguins, Guinea pigs, rabbit, swan, duck, chicken, turkey and many more.

It's too hot and there are few animals. There are no pandas either. Not worth it. Just go once. Thanks.

Panda sent to China without notice, too bad. Anyone who intends to come, don't waste money buying tickets.

Everything is smooth from the ticket redemption process. You just need to show your booking, and you’ll get your ticket. No need to queue like those who’s buying tickets physically. I can say this definitely won’t waste your time!
