It is a beautifully designed place in Gianyar. They even have an amazing, detailed sculpture of the Barong at the entrance. Come early, and you can find the parking lot with ease due to the large space provided. There is not only the theater but also a big souvenir shop as well as a food and drink area nearby. The theater has seats on an inclined plane so that there is a view from every seat, and it also has a wooden ceiling. I personally loved the show, but do take note that the show is 1 hour long. I also appreciated the brochure given that describes the Barong dance, story, characters, etc. They even have it translated into many languages as well. In addition to the actors, at the edge of the theater stage was a large group of musicians playing the traditional Balinese musical instrument and gamelan, which I enjoyed every minute of.
