We were picked up about 10 minutes early at the LOVE Sculpture in Shinjuku. Our guide, Jeffrey, was very friendly and made the trip enjoyable right from the start.
Our first stop was the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, where we took a cable car up to Mt. Tenjo.
The weather was perfect, and we were lucky enough to see a clear, stunning view of Mount Fuji from the top. The panoramic scenery over Lake Kawaguchi was absolutely breathtaking.
After that, we explored the lakeside, enjoying the beautiful flowers and peaceful scenery around Lake Kawaguchi.
Next, we joined a matcha workshop where we learned how to make traditional Japanese matcha tea. It was a fun and authentic cultural experience.
We then visited the famous Lawson convenience store with Mount Fuji in the background—definitely a great photo spot!
After lunch, our final stop was Oshino Hakkai. The village was incredibly charming, with eight crystal-clear ponds, traditional thatched-roof houses, and slowly turning water wheels. It truly felt like stepping back in time, with beautiful views of Mount Fuji completing the scene.
It was a fantastic and well-organized day trip with a great mix of scenic views and cultural experiences. Highly recommended!
