Great hotel

The staff are very helpful and kind.

Very disappointed in my stay this time at this hotel. The man at the front desk checking us in was very rude. The room smelled bad and the shower didn’t work properly. Also, no housekeeping came on the third day. When asked why not, the front desk said that they come every 3rd day, which is untrue, since they came 2 mornings in a row. Customer service needs some work here.

This hotel was in the perfect area !! I had a nice very warm welcome when walking towards the front desk to check in & even got handed 2 (warm) chocolate oatmeal cookies that were delicious! Breakfast is $25 on the 3rd floor but it was all you can eat and they had a great selection. This looks like a hotel that is a little bit older but has been renovated very, very, nicely. Would definitely stay again :-)

The room was clean and common areas beautiful!!! We did not eat at the hotel. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient.

I stayed at this property the night before a conference. The hotel is right in the flight path of the airport. Charlottesville airport is not busy, but the walls of this hotel are paper thin and you hear everything. The planes, the neighbor sneezing, the other neighbor listening to Justin Beiber. And the toilet kept making a weird glugging sound anytime a room in the vicinity flushed their toilet (yes, we could hear it) The facilities were also not well cleaned. The carpeting had debris in it, and the sink faucet had someone’s toothbrush spit still on it. There was also loose hairs on the bathroom floor that were not ours. For the conference, the hotel provided breakfast and lunch, which was great. To add breakfast to our reservation it was an additional $41 a night. The conference facilities were very dated, the plugs were minimal for charging computers and many of the outlets were taped over or cracked and looked unsafe to use. The carpets in the conference rooms were also disgusting.

Easy check in. Clean, bathroom dated. Easy parking. Close to JPJ arena and shopping.

Our room was not as clean as I would like. Dirt build up in the corners of the bathroom, broken toilet paper holder, gross coffee pods left in the coffee maker from a different guest and some strange plumbing issue in room 418. The sink gurgled over and over. Loud enough to wake me. I wasn’t impressed. The hotel itself seemed fairly well appointed but our room clearly missed the mark.

The comforter on the bed had literal MOLD in/on it.. The staff tried to stay it may be the feathers inside of the comforter.... it was absolutely not the feathers. you can see the mold when you held the comforter up with the light on the other side of it. We went to get into bed at 1 am and ended up leaving and driving 3 hours back home because we were so disgusted. Will never stay here again

I enjoyed the hotel very much! Great service and overall lovely accommodations. The linen on our beds were in need of replacement (bed skirt) and the bathroom needed touch up paint. The outside sink was stained. We will come back.

friendly staff

We were a group of four guys visiting Charlotteville for a golf/football weekend. We had two rooms, easy check in, rooms were comfortable and fine. Unfortunately, we came back after midnight from the football game and could not get into our room. The keys would not work, they replaced the key and they would not work, they then came around with master key, and it would not work. They had to put us up for the night in a different room, while all of our clothes, medicines, toiletrees were locked up in the first room. It also took us about an hour to get in and it was late and we were tired. So, this tainted our stay. They did comp us for one night for the room, we could not get into, so will complitment then for trying to make it right.
