What a great place! The staff was friendly and helpful; location was ideal; bed was extremely comfortable; room was surprisingly quiet given its location. The only downside was that the carpets in our room had just been cleaned (literally they were finishing up as we were walking into our room) so they were wet and the room wreaked of cleaning chemicals. We requested a box fan which they promptly delivered and we were able to open the window vent to help draw out the fumes. Because the hotel was sold out, they couldn’t relocate us.

Friendly and helpful service, clean rooms, great beds, quiet, walkable area with lots to do and the streetcar is nearby to take you places as well. Loved it!

Loved it. Was there for a Granddaughter at Children’s Mercy and felt at home.

For a $350 / night hotel, we couldn't get the A/C to work in the room, we had to pay to park $29, didn't get breakfast, the "heated" pool was probably 55 degrees and not only unheated but an aqua cemetery of bugs and mosquitoes. Every time I stay a night at a "nice hotel" I'm reminded why it's completely not worthy it. For half the price (or probably even less) I could stay at a Hampton Inn, with a more comfortable bed, rooms at the same level of finish, a damn breakfast, not get charged for parking, an indoor heated pool and while I won't be wowed, I won't be incredibly disappointed either because I won't be expecting to be impressed either. Goodness Sheraton, it's called the hospitality industry for a reason. Never again.

Great hotel for conferences, the staff is very helpful. Great location.

We chose this property for access to the “Link” because we were attending an event in the Union Station. We had thought that the Link would make our stay more convenient. We found that it made it more difficult! Signage is terrible and we found it very difficult to know for sure where we were in the “maze” as we tried to navigate. Really surprised us that there few good maps throughout the Link. Fortunately the weather was fine and we could walk easily. Can’t understand why the Link, which is a great idea, is so poorly mapped and signed!

The rooms were very spacious. It was in walking distance to the crown center shopping.

The staff was nice and helpful. There were a couple of staff that were a little passive aggressive. The room was clean but when we asked for room service they didn't vacuum. It was a busy weekend so the elevators took a while at times. Our stay was mostly positive.

First of all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The problem I had was with the room I received was not the pics on the site. For almost $600 per night I was not happy. Lots of noise from other guests and staff. For what’s it’s worth I won’t be booking again.

Convenient location and staffs are friendly and helpful, great city view from 30th floor. Room was clean but the facility is not new. Water pressure is not as high as I experienced in others, the sink was a little bit clogged first day and was fixed later.

In the room behind a chair had crumbs and had not been vacuumed. We asked for a late check out. Evidently someone didn’t program things because our key would not work and we got locked out of the room. Also we couldn’t get out of the parking garage. It was extremely expensive during this time and I expected better.

We stayed at the Westin last visit to KC. It seemed better. We did not like the fact our room was not cleaned one day and we called to front desk and asked for it to be cleaned. Had to call a second time, then when the attendant came (male) he said the Do Not Disturb sign was on, which we never would have turned that on. He did clean the room and left. That was unexpected. We were surprised at the lack of guests there compared to the Westin. We visited both hotels during our stay.

It was convenient

Location nice. More rundown than expected. Check in person seemed like a very unhappy person.

The hotel was nice, the dining room staff was superb and the food good, the maid made the bed with the fitted sheet on TOP - LOL, but when we checked out, the record showed we had checked out days before we did. We were trying to catch a flight and the front desk couldn’t get it straight and the person got snippy with me. I wasn’t happy!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Was close to Legoland and Science City, as well as a lot of other places to shop and eat.
