Property is mediocre. Beware of the elevator. It doesn't work and you have to press a ring door bell to call for it. It bangs as it goes up/down floors. We were in a room very close to the elevator and throughout the night we could hear constant banging which either kept us up or woke us up throughout the night. On arrival the floors were dirty... Popcorn on the side of the bed and dirt around the edges of the room. Right after coming up to the room I requested for a vaccum and that never happened throughout the entire stay. Customer service wise the light skin guy with the long hair in a pony tail has top notch customer service. The bell lady at the front from St. Croix is super nice. The light skin curly hair girl who works nights customer service is non existent. She really should be removed from customer facing roles. We were also charged for food and drink we never ordered but that was sorted fairly quickly. They accommodated a late check out (one hour later). Overall I would not recommend staying at this hotel, as I personally would not stay here again. There must be better for the same price in the vicinity.

This was our 3rd time staying at Hotel Alba while in Tampa. As usual, staff was helpful and very friendly. Rooms are very nice and clean too! Pool is perfect, pool bar is awesome and breakfast buffet hit the spot. We’ll be back again next year!

We had a four night stay. At first, there was only one of three elevators working so there was often a long wait for it. By the time of our fourth night, none of the elevators was working. We did a lot of walking up and down the stairs in what was not the nicest of stairwells even though the walls seem to have a fresh coat of paint. All that made the price of the room way too high.

Very clean property and so close to the airport. It had a beautiful pool and bar area with some really amazing cocktails. Everyone very friendly. Good restaurant and lobby area

Arriving at around midnight and advised at check-in there were no lifts and our room was on 5th floor. They offered option to cancel and book elsewhere, it would have been nice to have been offered this earlier in the day. But with a young family I hauled the cases up and we called it a night. We later noticed the toilet in the room wouldn't flush

We had a great experience with our stay. We were traveling with our 1 year old son and asked for an early check-in and instead they upgraded our room to a suite on the first floor since two of the three elevators were down. This was conveniently located right near the pool and outdoor seating area. The staff was very nice and responsive. Highly recommend.

This place charge to much and not good condition

This wasn’t a terrible property at all. I didn’t like that they have 3 elevators. However, they were only operating 1. There was a ring doorbell that you had to push and wait like 5-10 minutes. Eventually that elevator went out. Then we had to use the stairs. And we were on the 9th floor. The rooms were really dark and I didn’t like that the sink for the restroom was in another room. There wasn’t a microwave and the refrigerator was like a wine cooler fridge. Again not a horrible room but I wouldn’t stay here again. It was overpriced in my opinion based on size and amenities available in the room.

There is NO better hotel to stay in Tampa .

The hotel itself is nice. You walk up to pretty water fall and doors that open automatically as you walk up. The main lobby is nice, decor is inviting. Front desk staff was friendly and helped us get acquainted to everything. The walk to our room was kinda hectic, as people were having a good time socializing, playing games, etc. Our room was on the 1st floor , outside near the pool. The room was very nice but very dark. They really need new bright lighting. Everything looked cleaned and bed was okay, I did have lower back pain, assuming bed (not sure). My ONLY ISSUE, is the ASSUMPTION that you need your key card to come in through the back parking lot. One day, I was like let me open without my key, and the doors were VERY MUCH unlocked. Meaning ANYBODY can get onto the property at any time or any moment. Immediately UNSAFE! For the amount of money spent on those rooms, that made me VERY upset ! LOCK THE DOORS !!! We deserve to feel safe on your property, especially after spending thousands of dollars. Other than that, the property is nice, but just know, you aren’t protected by the property at all.
