Front desk greated us cheerfully, but seemed to be awkward with how to handle problems (ours and other guests who appeared). Current management should train staff for assertivenesss and empathy. Our two rooms booked weeks in advance had non functional toilets and showers. We were relocated to another room for which the microwave was sitting on the floor in the hallway. Pool is featured on website but not functioning. Restaurant advertised 6:30 open but not till 7:15 with no explanation. We should have been offered some kind of compensation, even an apology, and we were calm in expressing our frustrations. Other than that, rooms are spacious and appointments are nice, but run down with inadequate/worn-out outlets. We imagine they are dropping prices to fill rooms in off-season hoping to finance a renovation in future. Still, management has to arm staff to handle all these issues.
