Wonderful Breakfast Highly encounter to add the extra expense while making the hotel reservations.

Room is very clean and roomy. All staff from customer service/ front desk to kitchen staff and waitresses, housekeeping are too friendly and approachable, they are always smiling. Breakfast foods are always fresh and so delicious.

We arrived from Bergen tired and hungry. The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. They upgraded our room which was nice. The hotel is next to the Canadian Embassy so nice neighbours.

Its a very clean property with large rooms. 5 min walk to the city and just next to the castle park. A very beautiful place. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of offers and glutenfree bread/ pancakes. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Absolutly loved our stay! Thank you!

Great hotel in a central location. Either through the National Museum train station, or via Oslo Central and a 17, 18 or 19 tram to Holbergs Place. I had a big, airy room, with a very comfortable bed. I loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Lovely personnel, and a fabulous breakfast.

Great breakfast and very comfortable rooms

A very good stay at the Thon Hotel Slottsparken. The main reason for selecting the hotel was the availability to accommodate 3 adults (adult daughter still loves free holidays!) and the 'Business' room option worked our perfectly with plenty of room for us all. Location wise it was very close to the palace in a nice quiet area whilst also being less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of Oslo and the Nationaltheatret train station which has a direct link to the airport. Special mention for the breakfast which is amongst the best we've ever experienced. The quality and variety of food was excellent, and even more impressive given it was the Christmas holidays. The only small negative was that we were missed by housekeeping and our room wasn't serviced for our second day but that aside we would highly recommend this hotel for its good location and,relative to the cost of hotels in Oslo, very good value for money

Great hotel at good location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thon Hotel Slottsparken! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and the sommelier (Matthieu) in the downstairs wine bar was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. He made some wonderful wine and beer recommendations for us. The hotel rooms were simple but had everything we needed, including a kitchenette. The location was across the street from the Royal Palace and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping. We would definitely stay at this Thon location again! Thank you for a lovely time in Oslo!
