Breakfast was 1st class, lots of choice staff were very friendly and helpful, room was spacious, loved the under floor heating. Building work going on across the road but can’t be helped 10/10

We love our breakfast, staffs are helpful and attentive, the lady chef was very helpful and approachable, the only thing was we booked the room for 4 with my kids but when we get into the room only good for 2 were made, we ended up making the sofa bed and asking for linens and blanket and pillows

The breakfast was EXCELLENT

Gotta give a shout out to the staff first. I requested extra pillows ahead of time and when we arrived to check in, they were already there. Later, when I mentioned my husband's bad back and said that we would appreciate (if possible) an extra mattress pad, they were extremely helpful and accommodating with what they had. Ended up just using an extra comforter on the bed for him and we had the best night's sleep. The front desk staff were always helpful and friendly, going above and beyond with making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The next day, a different petson at reception asked if the comforter was adequate or if we still would like a mattress pad, picking up from the nuts if the last person in the system. The gym was really nice, small but well equipped and maintained. Breakfasts were beautiful, everything was fresh with a good variety. I certainly missed that breakfast when we had to check out at 2:45AM for our flight, but the reception staff was as pleasant as always. We'll consider this hotel chain when we come back to Norway for sure.

It was a really nice place to stay for a few days. Breakfast was really good but I would advise to go early as it tends to get very busy an hour before they stop serving food. It is right next to the royal palace and a good walkable distance to the city center.

Hotel was clean and room was good for value. Breakfast was great.

Room was lovely and clean, with coffee and tea facilities but would have liked to have had some sort of milk but there was nothing so couldn't used it. Breakfast was wonderful with every selection of food possible. Would have been nice to have had tea/coffee offered at the breakfast table so didn't have to queue for literally everything. Rather disappointing in a hotel of this size to have no sugar in the reception bar (ran out and waiting for a delivery!)

The reception staff were helpful especially the man on check-in helping me with the bus and the map. It’s a good location, right next to the Palace and only a short walk from the sights. The room was spacious too. I definitely think I would stay here again. The breakfast had a lot of selection however I felt a lot of members of staff were just walking around with not much to do and they kept looking at me as I ate so I felt rushed to leave (I got there at 8:30 so I wasn’t last minute at all) - also a lot of the food was missing signs so I wasn’t quite sure what most of it was (it didn’t even have Norwegian ). But overall a decent stay.

Lockers available if earlier safe options rooms has lockers .Only recommendations if you can have more English tv channels for international guests .Over all great hotel highly recommended 👌.

Great staff, clean rooms, great free breakfast. Fab location, only a 10 min walk to the markets. Our only complaint is that nobody from the hotel or hotels.com thought to tell us about the building work next door. We didn't find out until we got into our room. When I raised this with hotels.com on the 2nd day of a 4 day stay after being woken up at 7am by the blasting and digging which goes on until 5pm they passed the buck and said it was the hotel we needed to speak to. The hotel staff called us on monday evening to offer us a move to a quieter room on the other side of the hotel which was great. Considering we booked this trip in march for december travel we should have been informed by hotels.com so we could have decided if we wanted to change our accomodation.

Our family of four loved it here and the location to the train station, royal palace and Christmas market was perfect. We were really impressed with the breakfast offerings. It was a delicious spread.
