The breakfast was truly one of the best I’d had at any hotel in 30 years. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The spacious rooms were perfect with lovely down pillows and comforters. I will seek out Thon hotels for future stays.

The room service was terrible. Checked in and realised none of the shampoo, shower gel or hand wash was topped up. There was a bowl of half eaten strawberries in fridge from previous guest. Next day asked for room to be cleaned and they didn’t do it. Reception staff was friendly and helpful and the management gave us compensation for the inconvenience. The self service laundry was great and reasonably priced. Charging 100 nok a night for a baby cot is a rip off. Good breakfast Buffett. Apart from room service nothing to complain.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would gladly return again on our next trip to Oslo. The location is truly excellent — within walking distance of major tourist attractions, as well as countless restaurants, cafés, pubs, bars, and shops. Public transportation access was also incredibly convenient, with easy connections to train stations and the airport, which made traveling around the city stress-free. Our room was spacious, quiet, very clean, and located on the first floor, which we appreciated after a long international trip. The room included all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of this hotel was the breakfast buffet. It was honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced, with a wonderful variety and excellent quality selections. Another thoughtful touch was the sitting area next to the lobby where guests could freely access still water, sparkling water, tea, and coffee throughout the day. This was such a great convenience — no need to deal with boiling water in the room or being limited to instant coffee. Every member of the staff was friendly, respectful, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The level of service and hospitality we experienced here was honestly better than some 5-star hotels we have stayed at in the past. Excellent location and a very good breakfast

When we arrived we were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment, the room was fantastic and the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was really good plenty of choice and great quality the staff were fantastic. Very clean, lovely comfy beds Would definitely recommend

We stayed in the business room, the room was spacious with a separate living area with sofabed, dining table 4 chairs, a work desk. There is a separate kitchen area with microwave and electric gas. The bathroom is on the smaller side and no amenities. We were refused amenities by one of front staff but provided later on by another staff! The breakfast is very nice, with fresh smoothies and enough variety. Everything is replinished and nothing runs out. The staff are generally friendly and try to be helpful. Just one person was a bit difficult at the front desk. The gym is decent size & has all you need. Location is a short walk to the main city centre but atop a slightly elevated walk. Similarly story for the tram station, so bear that in mind when planning journey. Free coffee/tea in the lounge so helpful when you have a long day out. Very good stay overall.

Breakfast was 1st class, lots of choice staff were very friendly and helpful, room was spacious, loved the under floor heating. Building work going on across the road but can’t be helped 10/10

We love our breakfast, staffs are helpful and attentive, the lady chef was very helpful and approachable, the only thing was we booked the room for 4 with my kids but when we get into the room only good for 2 were made, we ended up making the sofa bed and asking for linens and blanket and pillows

The breakfast was EXCELLENT

Gotta give a shout out to the staff first. I requested extra pillows ahead of time and when we arrived to check in, they were already there. Later, when I mentioned my husband's bad back and said that we would appreciate (if possible) an extra mattress pad, they were extremely helpful and accommodating with what they had. Ended up just using an extra comforter on the bed for him and we had the best night's sleep. The front desk staff were always helpful and friendly, going above and beyond with making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The next day, a different petson at reception asked if the comforter was adequate or if we still would like a mattress pad, picking up from the nuts if the last person in the system. The gym was really nice, small but well equipped and maintained. Breakfasts were beautiful, everything was fresh with a good variety. I certainly missed that breakfast when we had to check out at 2:45AM for our flight, but the reception staff was as pleasant as always. We'll consider this hotel chain when we come back to Norway for sure.

It was a really nice place to stay for a few days. Breakfast was really good but I would advise to go early as it tends to get very busy an hour before they stop serving food. It is right next to the royal palace and a good walkable distance to the city center.
