The advertisement for the hotel is misleading and does not accurately reflect the current state of the facilities. The hotel is undergoing extensive remodeling, which The information is not disclosed. on the website. While breakfast is included in the stay, it is being offered as a grab-and-go option, located inconveniently near the construction area. This area is active with workers coming and going from 8 AM to 6 PM, making it difficult to enjoy breakfast in a dusty and disruptive environment. It would also be advisable to cover the breakfast station, including the toaster, to prevent dust from contaminating the food.
Upon checking into my room, I quickly noticed that my bed was unkempt and appeared to have been slept in. I summoned the manager to address the issue, and he promptly sent someone to change the linens. However, while I was downstairs, the cleaning manager claimed to have already changed the blankets. I expressed my concern about this being done without me being present in the room. When I returned, I discovered that only the top blanket had been removed, and the blanket underneath had noticeable stains. Additionally, the sheets were dirty as well. The cleaning manager insisted that the linens had been cleaned but came out of the washer like that, to which I responded that such items should never be presented in that condition. Furthermore, blankets should be laid flat and not left wrinkled, as if someone had jumped on the bed.
Additionally, I found several other cleanliness and safety issues throughout the hotel: the refrigerator was carelessly placed on the floor, the elevators had not been cleaned and were visibly dirty, there was a blower awkwardly propped against a bar wall, and exposed electrical cables created a safety hazard in common areas. The door of the room 309 was hard to open, creating a safety concern, and the phone was not working.
I formally requested a refund due to these numerous issues, and the front desk manager Benny acknowledged my concerns and apologized for my experience.. Unfortunately, despite his assistance, the third-party company responsible for the booking has yet to process my refund. I have attached pictures for further documentation of these problems.
