Stayed for one night after a long flight. Very clean, amazing staff (Reggie welcomed us warmly and answered all our questions, hes definitely a great addition to this location. Jewell helped us in the morning with breakfast selection, very nice lady too. It was a pleasure to meet her and spend some time talking to her). Hotel is merging with Marriott if im not mistaken and its going under renovations. Noise was very low even in the morning. Everything in the rooms is new, beds included. Will definitely stay over again when visiting.

Check-in actually went pretty smoothly. I was very curious why I had to pay to park with all the horrible construction that’s going on at the hotel, and the location of the hotel. I walking to my room I noticed the AC wasn’t working in the hallway. Entering my room I was immediately hit with the smell of marijuana. I went back down stairs, explained the issue and was provided with a different room. The new room smelled great but I didn’t have towels, a hotel phone, there were no outlets near or on the nightstand, and no ice bucket. Because I couldn’t call the front desk, I had to head back downstairs for a second time. I was provided with towels and an ice bucket. Well, the ice machine didn’t even work! Also, they didn’t provide a “ Do Not Disturb” tag for the room door. And of course in the morning they attempted to come in and clean the room while we were sleeping! I wouldn’t recommend staying at this location! It would’ve been a one star rating if it weren’t for the young man at the front desk being very kind and efficient.

This has happened to be one of the worst stays. I have ever stayed at and I work for a hotel check out is at 12 noon. My kids went downstairs to grab a cart at 11:50am because we literally just moved from another city so we have three crates in our room and we can’t carry it from the fourth floor Only to find out. There are no carts available downstairs. I even asked housekeeping, housekeeping stated that they would check for a cart for me. The lady never came back. I went downstairs to check again. They were still no carts. I even sat downstairs to wait only to be met with the response from the GM Maggie That me and my kids who are only 10 and 12 that we had five minutes to get our stuff out of the room where she was gonna call the police on us. I have never been so disgusted and outraged in my life. How are you gonna call the police on us when we’re literally trying to check out, but you guys didn’t have a cart available And then to be told, even though I was going to rebook that we’ve been put on the no rent list because we checked out late. I worked for Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt properties before I would tell people to steer clear of Choice Hotels specifically this one the GM Maggie is rude and condescending, and she does not care about what anybody has going on. I could’ve literally blew up in her face, but I stayed calm and just called Choice corporate and reported the Hotel and her I will also make sure that everyone knows about this hotel that’s on social media. The only good person that was at that hotel was Benny the office manager Benny And the breakfast cook and I hope the GM sees this review because Maggie I will be writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau and to the owner of that specific hotel to report you and you should know your staff is talking about you because you are new and you don’t know what you’re doing and they’re saying that you have to rely on them to help you

The advertisement for the hotel is misleading and does not accurately reflect the current state of the facilities. The hotel is undergoing extensive remodeling, which The information is not disclosed. on the website. While breakfast is included in the stay, it is being offered as a grab-and-go option, located inconveniently near the construction area. This area is active with workers coming and going from 8 AM to 6 PM, making it difficult to enjoy breakfast in a dusty and disruptive environment. It would also be advisable to cover the breakfast station, including the toaster, to prevent dust from contaminating the food. Upon checking into my room, I quickly noticed that my bed was unkempt and appeared to have been slept in. I summoned the manager to address the issue, and he promptly sent someone to change the linens. However, while I was downstairs, the cleaning manager claimed to have already changed the blankets. I expressed my concern about this being done without me being present in the room. When I returned, I discovered that only the top blanket had been removed, and the blanket underneath had noticeable stains. Additionally, the sheets were dirty as well. The cleaning manager insisted that the linens had been cleaned but came out of the washer like that, to which I responded that such items should never be presented in that condition. Furthermore, blankets should be laid flat and not left wrinkled, as if someone had jumped on the bed. Additionally, I found several other cleanliness and safety issues throughout the hotel: the refrigerator was carelessly placed on the floor, the elevators had not been cleaned and were visibly dirty, there was a blower awkwardly propped against a bar wall, and exposed electrical cables created a safety hazard in common areas. The door of the room 309 was hard to open, creating a safety concern, and the phone was not working. I formally requested a refund due to these numerous issues, and the front desk manager Benny acknowledged my concerns and apologized for my experience.. Unfortunately, despite his assistance, the third-party company responsible for the booking has yet to process my refund. I have attached pictures for further documentation of these problems.
