We would definitely come back as it ticked (nearly) all our boxes : great location with a nice view, quiet but within direct reach of vibrant Bryggen, clean and modern spaces and rooms, large and delicious breakfast range, kind and smiling staff. The only reasons for withholding a star were: not much storage space a large mobile phone mast just outside our window - so in the event of staying again, we would ask for a room at a lower level.

Beautiful hotel, with perfect location in the middle of Bergen sentrum (at the end of Bryggen). Beautiful view from our superior room, excellent service and wonderful tasteful and good variety in the included breakfast!

Great location

Excellent buffet breakfast as per all Thon group of hotels has and the room size was decent. Poor soundproofing of the rooms, I could hear the person in the room beside snoring and also for cases when people were moving the room chair. Reception was helpful and friendly.

Really friendly staff (Darko at breakfast), were great. Lovely views over the city.

Clean, good quality hotel. The rooms are poorly designed, with so much furniture that it’s hard to fit people and luggage. Same goes for bathrooms. But otherwise, it was a good experience.

Very friendly, helpful staff! The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and appreciated access to do laundry for NOK200 on-site. The hotel is the perfect location and walkable to restaurants and attractions.

Hotel is great. Hotels are not big in Norway, but our room was very comfortable and spacious. Room was also very quiet. Included breakfast was amazing.

Very near the port for Havila Ferry and interesting history nearby.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Orion. Our room on the 10th floor had a sensational view across the harbour and city and was equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. Comfortable bed, a good shower and an espresso machine - and the included breakfast was amazing, one of the nicest we've seen lately at this price point. Friendly staff, a surprisingly quiet location close to transport and the Flybussen and an easy walk into town also made this a good choice.

Room was clean, but tiny. The twin beds seemed to be very small to point where i was afraid to rollover, that i would roll out. Staff gave us wrong info about closing times of stores.

This is a lovely small property in a quieter area but walking distance to Bergen center, harbor, restaurants and attractions. The included breakfast was wonderful. Modern well appointed room. It was a perfect location for starting our tour of the fjords.
