Check in was slow. They took someone ahead of me when I had been waiting longer than they had. The tub drained very slowly which they fixed promptly but I lost two nights sleep because the toilet kept draining and refilling on its own. I kept having to get up to adjust the flapper in the toilet tank. I had to ask twice to get it fixed which they finally jack legged it with wire to hold the flapper in place. The staff was nice but nobody said they were sorry for the inconvenience. The pool was nice and it is convenient to shopping and places to get a bite to eat. Being on the beach is nice as well. All in all, it was ok. Think I’ll look elsewhere next visit to Hilton Head.

The property has a lovely coastal vibe and decor. Check-in was great (front desk gentlemen were top notch with service). The guest room was clean, nicely furnished with great storage and a very comfortable mattress. Now for the pool area - I did notify management that the pool area was not well maintained. Empty cans and drink cups lined the pool area. Food was left by lounge chairs and towels were strewn about. I saw a woman pour her cup of ... hopefully, water ... into the pool. There was one young woman running around taking drink and food orders and one girl by the pool towels who told me to take what I wanted. If that was the case, she could have been cleaning up the pool. We did not return to the pool after that experience and instead went to the beach about 1 mile down the road. Management provided a prompt response and I am confident that the issues with the pool will be rectified. I would try it again.

It was an amazing location, the rooms are clean and the staff was friendly and kind!! The only thing I wish was there was a separate pool for adults only and a rule for no kids in the hot tub. The porch had great food and wonderful service!!

We had a great time at Beach House!! The rooms were decent, and beds were extremely comfortable. The room temperature was perfect. We were here with a large group and it was a fun spot. I wish tiki Hut stayed open later, and served food later. Also, the elevators were scary and could use an upgrade.

Steps from the beach. Staff was nice. Walkable to shopping plaza. Onsite could use a store and better food options. I love my stay! Will stay again.

The room was wonderful, quiet and clean. Comfortable and high end pillows and bedding. The towels were soft and large. Hands down best location for beach and shopping.

As a older couple, we enjoyed our stay and relaxing at the pool. The hotel has been upgraded, the live music called tiki hut plays every evening is great. It shuts down at 10 pm, like the pool etc also. The beach is beautiful and the water was warm. Bring a umbrella for the beach, if possible. Food and drink service was pretty good. Enjoy.

Not great, dated room and property…very poor value for money

We loved our stay. Great area to be in. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Beach area was very crowded. Our room was fine. Nothing spectacular. Beds were very comfortable. Safe didn’t work and one of the two elevators was broken on our last day and it seemed everyone was leaving with lots of luggage on the same day which made it very frustrating. Also, the towel rack kept falling off the wall. I would stay there again because of the location and convenience to everything but I’d prefer that they pay more attention to the things that need to be fixed.

Great, clean, family friendly.

A few pros…great location, pool, beach and bar. Cons…booked a family suite with bunk beds - marketing photos and description were misleading indicating the room would include a patio, instead was a parking lot. Hotel acknowledged and said they would correct the issue on the website for future guests. Check-in staff was not welcoming and room cleaning was sparse - a few clean towels daily. Beds were never touched and floors were sandy during our 4-day stay. Toilet ran constantly. I would consider other options for a future stay.

The bed linens was nasty. I reported it to the manager and it was changed. There were bed bugs I had red spots on me. The room prices are too expensive and the extra fees are ridiculous. The beach was close by, but I won't be staying here again.

Property is nice and clean but the room that was given at the check in smelled like bleach.

Great location so close to the beach!

Lived the vibe,beach and tiki bar. Staff was super nice. Our Room did flood when a large storm came in and they sent up towels to wipe it up but definately they need to address the problem as we were told it happens often. Thankfully we had all of our luggage up off the floor.

When you spend close to a thousand dollars for two nights at a hotel, there is a modicum of expectation. The fact you're located on the beach shouldn't be the sole differentiator from other establishments and their pricing. No microwave in the rooms, no complimentary breakfast, an AC unit that sounds like it's going to explode every time it starts...These are things that shouldn't happen in a hotel that charges $965.52 for two nights. Oh, and the ten-dollar morning coffee was just an over-the-top insult. For that kinda money "simply Average" just doesn't cut it!
