Our recent stay at this DoubleTree by Hilton was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the brand’s usual standards. Upon check-in, we experienced an unacceptable 45-minute wait—by the time we finally got our room, both of our young kids had fallen asleep on the lobby couch at 11 PM.
When we finally got our keys, we were assigned the farthest room possible despite having four pieces of luggage and two car seats. No assistance was offered, making the long trek to the room exhausting, especially after a frustrating check-in process.
The room itself was a major letdown—it had a strong moldy smell that made it feel unclean and uncomfortable. Given the Hilton brand’s reputation, we expected a much better experience, but this stay fell far below expectations.
I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made in customer service, room maintenance, and overall hospitality.
