The Staff are very polite and friendly. The first problem was the room which is only accessible by a mounting goat

Parking needs to advertised as limited and street parking. as we found priority was given to people visiting the hotel and not guests staying.

Lovely hotel in the middle of lovely Clifton

Perfectly acceptable well maintained property for a relatively inexpensive night in the Bristol area

Used to be a very good small hotel. Needs to be better run and smartened up.

Well situated for restaurants in the evening. Bus stop to and from Temple meads outside the hotel. Older property well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Lovely bar in the evening. Breakfast delicious. Visited 2 weekends in a row for rugby. A lovely 30 mins walk to and from Ashton Gate. And about 30 min walk to the Amphitheatre area.

Clifton, where the Rodney is located, was perfect. We felt very safe walking around and found transportation easy to access. The hotel is very proud of their restaurant. We found it good but not excellent. We wished that we had not had breakfast included as there are lots of others options near the hotel. The room was very clean… the bathroom was great with a huge tub!! Housekeeping kept everything fresh and clean. The front desk staff were awesome. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. 4 1/2 out of 5!! ps. Check out the Clifton Suspension Bridge while you are there!!

Its location was ideal for what I needed. The village around it was fantastic, lots of coffee shops and restaurants

Convenient hotel near to Clifton centre.

Ideally situated for several restaurants. Bus stop outside the hotel meant easy access all over Bristol as well as a direct trip to the station in 25 mins. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and a well stocked bar. As long as you don’t mind Stepp hills then ideally suited for the Ashton gate stadium.
