Room smells of mildew. Staff not welcoming or as friendly as hospitality staff should be.

I booked the Sandman thinking it was a pretty good hotel and that it allowed pets. On check in we were surprised by a $25 pet fee - that is understandable, but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. When we arrived to our room, it felt dirty and things were broken. One sink hardly drained, the toilet ran forever, the walls needed to be painted, the shower had soap residue, etc. I was disappointed.

The property is a tad dated.. It does offer a indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness facility .. If you are not looking for a 5 star place and just need something basic and affordable, but with some amenities, then The Sandman might be for you.

Great stay. Good location. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Outer door had no lock. Beds were garbage. We won’t be back

Ok at best. Staff gave wrong indtructions to find room. Thumping from the room above. Tv wouldnt work. When staff showed up insusyed it was us. Remote would not work. Then would not shut off.

Great city view. Clean good room and front desk guy was a gem. Underground parking was good tight access for a factory tundra but no problems. Thankyou!

It's a great spot and we have stayed previously. The only downside was that we were woken up by sawing early in the morning. We totally get it given they are trying to rebuild after the fires but 7am felt a little early. We do love that they are dog friendly.

Nice hot tub

Walls had cracks in it, mini fridge stopped working, pool felt unsafe, Denny's there food had cardboard in it, bathrooms in suite were too loud.

Not very clean. Hot water for tea was lukewarm at best. Tea choices were limited by end of our stay. Coffee ran out often. Ceiling leaked around the hot tub. Had to walk through pool to get to fitness but not open before 9am. No upgrade or breakfast voucher for RSVP rewards members :(

Great value for the cost. The only thing we wanted was a bigger TV, otherwise we were very happy with the accommodations.
