Good room and convenient location. The breakfast is outstanding and I also loved having a kettle in our room .

I loved the pool

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a week skiing in Norway. The hotel had a great location in the city in easy reach of the light rail, train and bus routes. The family room was a great layout and very comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely helpful and their spoken English was great. The cleaners always spoke when we passed them in the corridor which was lovely. Breakfast was amazing - the best we have had in a city hotel in a long time. The restaurant atmosphere was calm and relaxed and we felt that the children were very much welcome in the hotel. There was a huge choice of cold and hot food as well as a good choice for vegan and gluten free diets. We made use of the 'to go' coffee cups at the end of breakfast to take out into the city before we left. Highly recommend, great value for money and would stay here again if we were to stop over night in Bergen in the future.

Well located, close to train station, many restaurants around and 10 min walk of Bryggen. Good price with breakfast. Quiet and safe.

Location was excellent. Staff were mostly helpful. Rooms were terribly small and had only two plugs. One was at the desk at the foot of the bed, which was not helpful for plugging in a CPAP machine, the other was at floor level across from the bathroom. No plug near the bed.

The hotel was very well located. The room was spacious and clean and as it had a small fridge, it would have just been perfect if they had included a kettle in the room.

Brilliant hotel. Very clean, staff very polite. Area around hotel has a few bars so was quite loud on a weekend, but would definitely stay there again

The room was cozy and efficient. Great view! Breakfast was amazing and made a great start to the day. Staff was very professional and polite. Definitely would stay here again!

Perfect location . Easy walking to all the sights of Bergen. Very helpful staff. Wonderful breakfasts. This was our second stay.

Quiet clean room with v. good shower pressure and temp. Very convenient to town and to end of Light Rail from airport. Very good breakfast. Staff all helpful and pleasant. Room lighting is a bit patchy, and T.V. had limited choice of chanels that worked. Other than breakfast we didn't use restaurant, and also gave gym a miss, so can't comment on those. Overall, very happy and would stay there again.

Hotel was in a great location walkable to the fish market, restaurants and the train station. Helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Small refrigerator in the room was a plus. On the negative side the rooms were very small, hot and the hotel is on a busy corner so too loud to open the windows at night.

Overall a good property

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and was filled with choices. The location was convenient to bus and train service as well as points of interest.

The hotel is in very convenient place and the breakfast is so good. However, the room is very simple without landline phone. The wall is not noisy cancellation. I can heard snoring from next room and street noise. I consider this hotel is two stars.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Front desk staff were very nice

Good location but on a noisy street, with insufficient window insulation. The shower room was in poor condition, the drain of the sink was blocked during our two-night stay and it has been impossible to get a plumber to fix it. The staff at the reception was very nice, but helpless. Will never come back to Scandic Bypassen. A week after, we were at Scandic Torget, the experience has been way better there.
