I didn’t stay at the hotel at all. Booked 1 week prior to my stay at the lodge but when I( physically) saw the actual hotel. I couldn’t. We reached there around 11:00 with two infants. They had the funny hotel policy stated by the hotel receptionist, “ can only have one child in one room.” Though we booked family room with two queen sized beds. They wanted us to book another room and wanted to scam us basically. Had to rush to Holiday Inn for better accommodation and cleanliness. And I don’t regret a bit to go to Holiday Inn. They were legit nice and welcoming. Travel lodge is sketchy for those who are looking to stay there at cheap. Don’t waste your money. Add extra cash and stay at renowned hotels. They don’t refund your money for cancellation.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had my sleep interrupted by the hotel twice. The first night I was awakened sometime before 8 o'clock with a call from the front desk saying that I wasn't supposed to be there until several days later and that they had also charged me for a no-show. (???) What had happened was they had checked me in under someone else's reservation with the same first name, charged me the price for their stay, and then charged me (while I was asleep in the room I had booked) for not showing up. After a litany of exchanges, charges and refunds, I wound up paying for my stay for the correct ammount. What a great way to start your day! The second night there was a gas leak in the building, most of the guests were out in the parking lot because of the strong smell and the firetrucks - it wasn't solved until 3 am. I had to be driving by 8 am the following morning. The night staff had assured me they would leave a note on my file - and of course nothing was done. One week later I received a text saying that I could check into my room by responding to that text - for a reservation that I hadn't made!!! What a mess! I will never stay here again.

It was great little stay, I booked online and was able to pay with my debit card, so when I arrived I just need to pay the deposit of $100 on CC. Didn't take long maybe 10 mins if that.. the room was clean, bed was comfy. Not alot of parking had to park behind in the back and walk around to the front door but honestly not bad at all. It was quiet in the hallways, you could hear people in their rooms but once you stepped away you could no longer hear them which is great! Some hotels you can still hear people 4 doors down from their rooms but not here. I would stay here again.

Not sure of all the negative reviews, we had one of the best stays . The rooms were very clean the staff were courteous enough to let us check in 30 mins early as it was snowing in Calgary. Breakfast was too good on both days , you can order from anywhere in Calgary the hotel is located at a great middle spot. Cleaning was done after Day 1 and the room was kept spot less , There is an outside pool that ppl can use during warm weather, there's laundry facilities, vending machines, Apple I home , coffee maker, mini bar and a few other amenities to use . Everything was working and well maintained all of this pretty much in budget , Kudos to the staff and team .

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. While the rate was very affordable and I wasn’t expecting anything luxurious, I did expect basic cleanliness and comfort standards to be met. Unfortunately, the toilet was extremely dirty — the inside rim clearly had not been cleaned for quite some time. We also found a used condom wrapper in the room, which was very concerning. On the last night of our stay, there were children running and yelling in the hallways for over an hour, which made it very difficult to relax or sleep. I reported the cleanliness issue to the front desk during my stay and provided my name and phone number. I also submitted a complaint through their online chat. They confirmed online that they had received my complaint and advised that the resolution offered would be 10% off a future stay. I did not receive any follow-up call. Cleanliness and a reasonable level of quiet are basic expectations, regardless of price point. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable staying here again.
