For a more expensive hotel it does not quite live up to the expectations. Some stains on room carpet, small bathroom, water leak in the car garage. Breakfast area is not big enough for the amount of guests making it too crowded. The room temperature overrides automatically and lowers the temperature after a while even if I put it higher.

Lovely hotel, very convenient to both old and new Stavanger, with good transport options very close. Clean room of good size, and really excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

Pros: delicious breakfast with lots of choices, Karoline was incredibly helpful and amazing at the front desk with our needs, great amenities even though we didn’t use them, good room, shower, and bathroom, would stay here again Cons: the location is fine although it isn’t in the cutest part of Stavanger but very walkable, hallway was a bit dark as some lights were very dim which reduces security

Friendly helpful staff

Had a great stay hotel is easy to find and in close proximity to public transport and attractions. Room was very spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable and linen and towels of good quality. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Pool /sauna/and gym was nice .Area was clean . Only down side was we had to book in advance which was not a problem for us . No information was given about having to take towels to the pool with us so we had to nip back up to the room before we entered the pool. Jacuzzi was out of order but that did not spoil our time. Pool area only has 2 loungers and about 6 chairs to use . Near the sauna is a seating area with a padded material cushion that did smell of wet dog when you were down that area of the pool but that might just be my sensitive nose . Overall we had a great weekend and would stay again. All staff we came in to contact with were polite and looked like they enjoyed their job

The hotel is nice enough, however at the time of my stay they were implementing a new check-in system and I had to wait almost an hour to be allocated a room. The staff were not managing the situation particularly well, and members of reception were having to manually check that rooms were vacant and cleaned (one at a time)! Hopefully this issue will be resolved, and hopefully they learn from the experience and deal with future issues more efficiently!

This is a wonderful hotel from check in to check out! The lobby is beautiful with several quaint sitting areas and a huge breakfast area / restaurant. The breakfast is amazing and delicious! The pool area is funky and very nice with a great hot tub, sauna, etc. And our room was very nice and quiet. The hotel is convenient and walkable to all areas, restaurants, train/bus, museums in central Stavanger. We had a very fun stay!

Brilliant stay

I travelled to Stavanger to go on group hiking trip but I was staying at the hotel as a solo traveler. I called the hotel the day before I was due to travel with a query and from speaking to Caroline, I could tell I had made a good choice! She was super lovely and friendly - I met her when I arrived and again she was so helpful and just a really nice person with great energy! I would definitely stay here again and am already looking forward to my next trip :)

The stuff in the hotel is very nice and helpful as well as being always ready to answer any questions you may have. The rooms are specious, functional and the beds are comfortable. This hotel has the best variety for breakfast imaginable.

Property has improved greatly since Scandic took over. Nice location to the city. Nice bright breakfast area with good choices

Nice property, I would stay here again. Very convenient

One star hotel at five star prices. Spotty service, only one towel per room in the name of the environment. No staff to seat guests in dining room. Relatively messy tables and food area.

I cannot fault this hotel in any way. The staff are wonderful - helpful, polite and happy to assist in any way. The rooms were beautiful and clean and a very good size. Breakfast has a huge range and caters fantastically for gluten free and lactose free guests. It does get a little busy at breakfast but they do warn you on reception about which times are busier. The highlight though is the beautiful swimming pool / spa area. It works on a booking system so it’s never too busy and the features are absolutely stunning - perfectly clean and laid out beautifully. We will definitely be visiting this hotel when we are back in Stavanger!

A bit outdated and not so fresh. Lot of empty space over the lobby with some room having windows only to the inside. Too expensive for the standard given. Pool does look nice though, even if I didn't have time to try.

We have stayed at the hotel several times it is conveniently located for our needs We enjoy the buffet breakfast.
