We reserved two rooms over the weekend. There wasn't indication on the Expedia website that the hotel is undergoing a major renovation. The entire hotel seating area is closed off. There's one elevator. The gym is non-functional. Additionally, one of the rooms air conditioning/heating unit doesn'[t work. When inquiring about it being fixed, we were told they could send someone up but doubted it could be fixed. The resolution was a fan. When asked for water, we were told it would be $2 a bottle. Overall the experience of this hotel stay was unsatisfactory and we will not be staying here in the future. Extremely disappointed as we have previously stayed in this hotel several times.

Construction was happening at the time we stayed. A jack hammer all day long! The vintners grill is gone! This is something that should have come to my attention before staying here!

Great Place

You should state that the building is under construction at booking! Dust everywhere, unsecure rooms, noise… no comp bfast as offered. I would at least expect a complimentary glass of wine, rather than 13$ for a 3 oz glass, and a twenty minute wait. Close it til you are ready to provide a semi-comfortable experience!

I have stayed there before it was a nice hotel as we arrived for a softball tournament for a 3-day stay we were not notified regarding all the renovations going on they stated there was some small fine print upon three investigating that the print did not state that the pool and patio area was going to be such a mess and having to walk and find ice maker I was a very poor stay this time I would like some compensation if possible at $500 you will find a better stay. And it is sad to say because this is our stay for the annual softball tournament in Santa Maria and orcutt along with many other teams

Pool is under construction. The whole hotel is under construction big construction redoing all the rooms, ballroom complete mess no parking due to all the construction workers taking up spots had to park across the street in an unlit parking lot scary. And the front desk tells me after we check in that there is construction and it starts at 8 am till evening. Smelled like paint throughout.

The property is undergoing major renovations. Dirt and grimy. Lights flickering where sockets not working. Dirt all over windows and dust all over corridors. . Put into an outside room so feels like a cheap motel rather than a hotel. Not advised beforehand of major renovations. Feels very run down. Looks like hotel is now part of cheap hotel chain not Raddison.

There is major building renovation work going on and not advised beforehand. Room is run down. Lights flicker as sockets not working correctly. Grime on windows and doors. Fly screen to balcony fell off when door opened. Would not have stayed if knew extent of building work being undertaken.

I have booked last minute several times and the front desk staff is always remarkably helpful friendly and very respectful

Hotel is under renovation, we stayed for only a night and there was no hot water for shower, sink was clogging.

I don’t like that we did not get any kind of heads up that the hotel was under construction for remodeling reasons. We were all expecting to take our kids to the pool. If I had known about the remodeling I would not have booked there.

They are renting rooms while undergoing a complete remodel. The rooms (couldn’t even stop in the first room, had to request another) we were given are in the worst shape they can be. Carpets so stained they look as though they have every bodily fluid smeared on them. Because of the remodel, the room maintenance is nonexistent, which causes the cleaning service to also be poor. The elevators are in poor repair also. One was closed, being replaced and the other groans so loud, you wonder if it will get you where you’re going. After arriving very late, we were awoken at 7:30 am to the sound of hammers and saws outside our room. They promise it will be beautiful when complete, but my advice is for them to forego renting out the rooms until that is completed. We had a six night stay booked but left after being there for only hours.

The carpet was filthy. Large stains throuout the entire room. Smelled like urine. My grandson said it smelled like a Convalescent Hospital. I agreed. We went out to buy spray for room. They need to ditch the carpet. Pool, restaurant were closed. Lots of renovating going on. Our beautiful view out the window were dumpsters. I was very surprised that The Radisson would be like this. I was very disappointed. I dont think I will ever stay there again.

Under construction…. Dusty.

We have stayed here quite a few times and always love it. But the construction has made staying here not so pleasant right now. We realize you are going through big changes but it's not enjoyable to stay as it once was. No pool and hot tub. No great restaurant and food. Can't even get a soda or snacks. We will come back when you are done renovating. Prices were to high when most of the great things were gone.

The property is constantly under renovation but still not up to par. The sink in the bathroom had a big crack in it and the faucet never shut off. I am 5'3" and the sink and toilet are too low for easy access for me, let alone my elderly 6'4" husband. Ordered takeout Saturday night from the restaurant (make shift) and ordered fish and chips. Got fish tacos instead. I should have known when the waitress did not write it down and I should have looked. Never really pleased with this hotel.

It was under construction and the pool wasn’t available. Not the best , I think if everything that was advertised were available I would have LOVED it!
