This is the 2nd time staying at the Sandman in Penticton. Clean rooms. Nice helpful staff. Convenient the hotel is attached to Dennys. We'll go back there again!

This hotel is in need of a significant upgrade. While the property has potential, it feels dated and could benefit from renovations. The carpet in our room was noticeably dirty, which made the room feel less clean overall. Since this is a pet-friendly hotel, there was a noticeable pet odour in the room. If you have allergies or are sensitive to smells, this may not be the best choice. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay, and we truly appreciated their excellent service. We hope the hotel invests in improvements because the staff deserve a property that matches the quality of their hospitality.

The bed was comfortable, and the hotel room was very clean. I did notice the sink in the bathroom is getting very worn out. Looks like it’s going to need replacing soon. Also, the outside of the property there was quite a bit of garbage laying around and dead dried out landscaping, which is obviously a fire hazard.

It was so noisy at night, otherwise it was great.

Very tired hotel, needs an upgrade badly. Staff are friendly. We stayed mid week and the price was lower but wouldn't have been happy to pay the weekend rate. Bed was comfortable but it ended there.

The lobby looks great and modern. That's the only part of the hotel that is. I've stayed in Sandman hotels before and this one is very out-dated, not upto what I was expecting from Sandman. There was no mention of a room airconditioning unit which was very loud, in fact had to turn it off to sleep. Then was hot because of no air conditioning. Staff was very helpful and understanding when we checked out the next day. Just a little disappointing for us as we had higher expectations from Sandman. It was clean, but just loud A/C and outdated.

The duty manager lorell D. Was excellent a real asset. She went beyond that was expected. Ill stay here again because of her.

After checking in, we checked out and got a new hotel.

A little older, but clean. The TV was unplugged, but got it working. Then realized why it was probably unplugged, as TV kept turning back on after you shut off, and no plug in for bathroom.

Clean & convenient location. Denny’s downstairs is a bonus.

Rooms are small, double beds in all rooms with 2 beds, garbage in the halls and stairs that didn’t move for the 5 days that we were there, the hallways and stairs were not cleaned at all. Room door didn’t close properly, nor did the card reader work properly. We were a party of 12 and had 3 rooms in total for 5 days, 2 rooms I was charged the same rate, the 3 room we were charged $70 dollars more, all 3 rooms were booked at the same time, the rooms were identical with the same amount of people, and the staff was zero help at all in explaining why. Filing a complaint, worst Sandman I have ever stayed at, and will never stay at this hotel again.

Good location. Fridge and microwave stopped working. Staff couldn't fix it, so I fixed it myself.

The staff were excellent and very helpful. Unfortunately, the room had a strong unpleasant smell, which made the stay less enjoyable. I understand this may be because the building is quite old, but it would be great if something could be done to improve it.
