Gave us the wrong room type and would not correct the mistake. They were very condescending and unhelpful when asked for a correction.

Needs to be updated. But convenient to convention center

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Front desk staff LaQuisha is rude, immature, hangs up on customers, can’t multifunction nor show any customer service skills at all. Hilton should be ashamed of all the bad reviews on her and still allowing her to have this job. She is embarrassing your brand and should NOT be in charge of any hotel or employees. If anyone read this review just know that her alone at that hotel will make your stay HELL.

The hotel faced some issues and

no a/c in room, only had heat

No air conditioning on a hot day in March. I was told to open the windows and turn the thermostat off because it's an old building. They offered a fan. We had to go back inside upon leaving to get the parking garage us out. The shampoo and conditioner was out. The fridge was broken and they told me to give it another hour after we already had given it an hour. They said they would replace the fridge the next day and never did. The revolving front door was broken. The ice machine on our floor was broken. No sheets were on the pull out couch bed. The elevators smelled like strong stanky weed although they did try to put air freshener. The towels were lovely and so was the shower head.

Not the best

The room was incredibly warm. It made for a very an uncomfortable night.

parking difficult

You can tell that this DoubleTree is quite old. The front desk staff made us feel rushed, didn't have any information about the restaurant and wasn't helpful in finding information for us. The building itself was run down. The cooler in the grab and go amenity was broken and so there were no beverages available. The restaurant on site initially told us they were open at 4pm, but then at 4:08PM, they told us 4:30 pm. The ice machine on our floor was broken. There was no full length mirror in the room and overall the entire hotel was so warm. Way too warm. We opening our window in March in MN so we could sleep comfortably. I will not stay here again.

The ac was not able to be turned on and it was 80 + in our room. We were super hot and everyone is sick this morning. The hotel was really nice and I wish we could have enjoyed the stay a little more but that’s so hard to do with no ac. They suggested we open a window but with small kids and on the 12 floor that was not a great idea. I think they need a better option for ac and ventilation during the winter months.

It was not what it was made out to be. We got 2 rooms one the toilet was broken in and the heater would not shut off or go down. The other we got charged for a lamp that wasn't working along with a broken toilet paper holder which was already broken when ee arrived. Staff was not friendly and rude espically when i tried to ask questions and tell them what was broken shortly after checking in. Was not satisifed at all.

The parking situation is a hassle. The gentleman at the front desk seemes leas than enthusiastic to help us, and the restaurant kitchen shut down early.

Hotel was in a good location within walking distance to many things including restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was available for purchase on site which was nice. Bathroom and bedroom area were very clean. Hot water was shut off to the sink and only cold water available however shower did have hot water.

Very safe and quiet. Good price.and friendly efficient staff. It would have been good to get housekeeping in each day to empty bins, stock up water and coffee etc.

The bed was okay, the pillows were terrible. Imagine extra firm, poofy couch pillows. Putting two of them together equaled one normal sized pillow. Very uncomfortable, we didn’t get much sleep. Had to make a makeshift pillow with the towels. And the room setup was awkward. Bed was super close to the door, with it split by the bathroom and then a business center near the window. It should be swapped for more privacy. Shampoo/conditioner stocked in the shower was also empty.

Unfortunately we found bed bugs in our first room. Both beds and on the floor. The staff did move us rooms but the second room the lights didn’t work, so we had to move a third time. Despite checking our third room with a fine tooth comb my friend still woke up with welts on her body so we are not sure if our third room had bed bugs as well. Probably will not stay here again but again staff was helpful

A comfortable hotel and great on value. The staff was very nice.

Not the cleanest… cashless but laundry required coins so the could not provide change. Had to ask for more towels several times. Overall ok.
