The room was beautiful, beds were so comfortable, and the pool area was absolutely lovely! Close to the airport with a great shuttle service. Wonderful way to end our trip to Spain! Would return here in a heartbeat!

Great short stay at an airport hotel in Madrid. Felt like a wonderful mini vacation within a vacation. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was great. The only disappointment was that the pool area was not open, and this wasn't advertised before we booked. Looked lovely. But maybe next time.

My first impression of the place was ok. But I felt like the person who checked me in was in a rush. I asked her to make a wake up call for 6 the next morning. It never came. My room had mosquitoes in it so I got bitten while I was sleeping. That’s unacceptable for what I payed for the room. Next time another hotel.

I arrived late at night, and got on the hotel's airport shuttle. The driver was courteous and helped me with the luggage. At the hotel, an employee from the front desk immediately came out, helped me with the luggage, and helped me with a smooth check-in process. I ordered room service which was good and fast, which I appreciated, considering my late arrival. At check-in, I had to reserve a taxi to the airport since the shuttle was already fully booked for the morning. The next morning, the taxi was already waiting for me when I went to check-out. Again, excellent service. The free wifi worked well, and it was easy to connect to. The breakfast was excellent, a large buffet, which included made to order omelets. I would definitely stay at the Melia Barajas again.

Nice to stay near the AIr port for next flights

I had a wonderful stay at Meliá Barajas. The hotel is very comfortable, spotless, and the rooms are spacious with excellent beds after a long trip. The location is perfect if you need to be close to the airport, and the complimentary airport shuttle made everything incredibly easy. The staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming throughout my stay. I also enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast, which offered a great variety and high-quality food. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel was quiet and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind before an early flight. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and excellent service in Madrid.

Super convenient hotel for location and quality

This was the perfect place to stay for my layover in Madrid. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was clean, had a great outdoor area with a pool and nice restaurants on the property. I had a sandwich at the poolside restaurant and the breakfast buffet in the morning, both were excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable with cute cafes on the street perpendicular to the back of the hotel. I will definitely stay again.
