Very clean, good housekeeping, helpful staff.

This beautiful gem of a hotel is in the heart of La Jolla Cove and a few blocks from the beach. I stayed in a gorgeous corner ocean view room and the ocean is also visible from the main lobby. Walkable to all the shops and restaurants with a very friendly staff- the valets were super helpful and had my car ready when I came out each morning to get to my conference. Wished I wasn’t on a work trip so I could’ve enjoyed even more but a wonderful treat to come back to each night.

I stayed in the Garden area. It was perfect for me. I really enjoyed the beautiful flowers and sitting areas. I’m a light sleeper and this gated area was very quite and peaceful.

Love the historical touches at this hotel. I’ve stayed twice and will return again. Get the beach view.

Very nice stay at Christmas. Great rooms, great staff, great location. The only thing that was missig was that little extra Christmas touch. It would have been nice to be given a few cookies, chocolates or candies to celebrate the holidays.

Not satisfied at all I was explained that the ballet parking was complementary and that all the amenities in the room were free up charge and now I am being charged 50+ dollars
