Great location

Walls are paper thin. We could hear the entire conversation of the room next to us. We went to bed around 10 each night and couldn’t sleep with the noises. Staff are very nice and friendly. Got welcome gifts upon checking in. Held our luggage after checkout so we could sightsee until plane departure. Rooftop terrace had a great view of the entire city. Lots of seating but it would have been nice to have fire pits or heating of some kind to be able to sit up there and enjoy. It was so windy and cold we couldn’t enjoy it. Very convenient location and right next to the metro stops.

This is a wonderful hotel. It is on the border between the "newer" part of the city with Gaudi buildings and other sites, and the older medieval city with narrow streets, restaurants and shops. There is a subway stop across the street and it is easy to get around. The hotel is stylish and in immaculate condition. The rooms are spacious and up-to-date. We visited in mid-March and the only hiccup was that the main part of the hotel has a central heating/cooling system. The weather was warming up and the heat was still on: our room was hot. The hotel moved us to another room which was not quite as nice but much cooler. We would recommend this hotel as a convenient and elegant place to stay in Barcelona.

This place is a 5 star hotel!! The decor was wonderful and majestic. Its seconds away from food and shopping. Great location!! The restaurant to the right and just around the corner is fantastic and recommended. The Avendia room is stunning! Get it if it's available. The bed was comfortable room super clean. My only nic pick is the tub is very slippery. A rug or tub mat would fix that. The staff..omg the staff was super pleasant and very helpful. The even got taxis for us when we needed it. If you get the breakfast, just wow! So good and plenty of options. This really is a recommended hotel you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic staff and lovely breakfast. Our room was very warm and air con didn’t work. They moved us to a renovated room which was lovely cool - should have complained earlier.

Everything was good except for the missing minibar. For a 4-star hotel, I think a complimentary minibar or afternoon refreshment would be a nice addition.

Such a good location. Right in the city center. The staff was all so kind. I got sick and they were extremely helpful, they sent a doctor to my room. Very nice amenities as well and the room was great.

Great location close to restsurant, shops and la ramble

The breakfast was disappointing (for a Brit) as there wasn't much choice unless you wanted continental. The toasters were so slow, we gave up! Also, 1 coffee per person in the room was stingy, with no option for tea, etc. Also a cardboard cup, which was disappointing. The location was brilliant, with lots on the doorstep and the metro about 200yds away. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, amenities and can’t beat the location ! Transit all around the hotel. Beautiful rooftop pool although we weren’t able to use fully due to March cool weather!

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was very nice and conveniently located.

Great location—within easy walking distance of major attractions, metro stations, and plenty of shopping. There are also many excellent restaurants nearby. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They clearly made an effort to ensure our stay was comfortable, which we really appreciated. The only minor downsides were that the elevators were a bit slow at times, and the pillows were somewhat hard and flat for my liking. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
