The front desk staff were super friendly and professional. Check-in was easy and fast. The rooms were clean, had a microwave and mini-fridge. We enjoyed our stay there!

Furniture was stained as was the bed comforter. Front desk staff were rude, had to call the property while at the check in/out desk as no one was there. In the fitness room there were a bunch of broken AC units sitting on the floor.

Overall this day was pretty good I didn't care for the fact that they ran out of coffee in the morning and it was like pulling teeth to get another one and when we went down to the front desk to ask for another pillow the person was on the phone talking to somebody and just acted like we wasn't even there for 3 to 4 minutes other than that it was overall pretty good stay The breakfast wasn't much I mean just waffles but that can be forgiven I guess I think the next time I'm in cedar Rapids I'll probably go somewhere else.

The room was clean and the beds were actually comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom light did not work, the desk chair was broken, and when we turned the heat on it emitted a horrible smell. Breakfast was okay. This is our second stay at this location and several things were broken in our room during our previous stay. We gave it another chance because of the price and it was clean.

I really don’t like to talk bad about businesses. I know most are doing the best they can. The room was clean and beds pretty comfortable. The workers at the desk couldn’t be bothered to help me at check in. One kept her headphones on watching something on her phone. The other attendant just pointed to a screen with totals on it. In the morning our room had no hot water. It was 6 am so it wasn’t because it ran out. I went to the front desk to ask if there was a problem. One worker was asleep the other had their headphones on watching their phone. It took them a while to see me. They took one half of the headphones off and stared at me. I asked if there was a problem with the hot water. The other woke up and went to a maintenance room. We never got hot water. When we checked out, no apologies for no hot water, no offer to take a little off the price, nothing. I wasn’t looking for a discount, but some acknowledgment would have been basic customer service. Summary, the room was not bad, but customer service, at least on this visit, was terrible.

Staff were great. Friendly and informative. 10/10 for staff. No notes. It was quiet and overall felt safe. It is also very conveniently located near the highway. Maintenance needed some work. The toilet was not secured well to the floor. The refrigerator did not work. The bathroom door was splitting apart at the seams. For the price, I'm not mad, but it needs a bit of TLC. Neutral side note: all the linens smelled like berries or another fruit.
