the location is great, with a beautiful river by side

Located in the Altstadt. 2 years ago I stayed in a hotel in the Neustadt. A bit of a walk from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) when I arrived, as I didn't know the tram system and which top to get off. As it turned out, I could take the Number1 or 6, getting off at the same stop (Ritterstrasse) Found out and took the tram back when I let Brandenburg a.d. Havel. Front desk was not particularly helpful when I asked, particularly where to buy a ticket (Fahrkarte).

A comfortable hotel - lovely quiet rooms overlooking the garden. Great location for the old part of town. Brandenburg a very quiet town - suggest Werft restaurant by the river for its great location and food. Lovely river cruises. Only need a day there.

After a mix up with our original hotel we booked in to here for the night. The night porter Andreas was very helpful and took care of everything we needed even though we arrived very late in the evening. Breakfast was of a good standard and the secure car parking is good for peace of mind. Overall a very good place to stay.

Very pleasant staff. Good room facilities. We asked for a room on a high floor which we were given. It overlooked the main square. Enjoyable walk across the river. We ate at a lovely restaurant overlooking the river. Good food beautifully cooked at a reasonable price.

The Sorat was pretty a pretty good all round Hotel which covered all the basics and more without being outstanding. The only thing which stood out in our stay was that the air conditioner in our room didn't work. To be fair to the Hotel, we could have reported this and given them an opportunity to do something about it, but we just went to sleep instead, so it clearly wasn't too much of an issue for us. Breakfast was a little pricey (11 euros per head) but very good and fresh pancakes and waffles were available on request to supplement the high quality breakfast buffet. You can also eat out in the hotel's garden which was pretty nice on a summer morning. The Hotel also had a secure underground car park. It cost 10 euros to use this, but given that we had a car full of stuff this seemed worth it.

Hotel was OK - all as per description. Town with little going on, yet the hotel placed in the most central spot available. Bus station 50m away.

The hotel was very good, comfortable, well located, helpful and friendly staff. Most staff had some English which was much appreciated. Breakfast was good and the dinner we had in the hotel restuarant was EXCELLENT

Personal ist es sehr freundlich, Lage top und trotz des Jahreswechsels war es ruhig. Die Zimmer sind schön warm, geräumig und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Frühstücksauswahl ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer könnten nur etwas heller sein, eine große Deckenlampe fehlte und es roch sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Hotel an sich manchmal etwas muffig. Außerdem wäre ein Safe in den Zimmern nicht verkehrt.

Frühstuck war ok.Die Sauna war auch hervorragend!

The hotel is beautifully situated in the Old Town of Brandenburg, in a quiet neughbourhood. After taking dinner in the hotel, we went for a pleasant stroll to the river and back. To be recommended!

Alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit gewesen. Nur das Frühstück mit 20 € pro Person etwas teuer.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang in guter Innenstadtlage. Hervorragendes Restaurant.
