Absolutely brilliant customer service: helped us find a taxi at late notice to drive us into Poland when our train was cancelled at late notice

Good location, town has good transport. Hotel clean apart from the last guests leftovers in the fridge. No tea making facilities? A major omission.

The hotel says it’s a 4 star, but it is more like a descent 3 star. Our room needs a refresh/ renovation.

This hotel is located in the center of the old town. It is very convenient for shopping, eating, and sight seeing. They serve a great breakfast and have parking under the building. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The additional breakfast charges of EUR 13 per day are extreme. But the staff is very welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is in a lovely spot right in the heart of the pedestrian zone of Cottbus. I would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I have stayed at Sorat Hotel Cottbus on several occasions, and we have never been disappointed. The Sorat has an excellent location in the old town area. It provides quality lodging at a reasonable price with clean and comfortable rooms and wifi that works well. There are numerous restaurants in the area.

Sorat Hotel Cottbus provided its typical high quality lodging experience. Well located in the Altstadt area, the Sorat provided a clean and comfortable room at a very reasonable price. The wifi worked well. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel. One issue: I extended my three night stay by one additional night, for which I pre-paid to Hotels.com/Expedia. However, the Sorat double-billed me for the fourth night at check-out. (I am confident the Sorat will resolve this issue.)

The staff were friendly and spoke English. The hotel is in the center of old town so very accessible. A very enjoyable stay.

Hotel was ok. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we didnt get double bed (only twin), shower was a disaster as it was over-flooding and trash wasn't removed from the room.

The hotel is located just a short walk from the market center of town, where a number of welcoming cafes and restaurants are located. The town has many buildings with interesting historical architecture. While staying at the Sorat Hotel, I attended an excellent opera performance of "Wozzeck" at the Staatstheater. The Staatstheater dates from the first decade of the 20th century, is built in the Jugendstil style and is well worth a visit even if just to see the building itself.

My brother and I spent three days there since we wanted to see the cultural capital of the Lower Sorbs (Wends).
