Not bad. Staff were a little odd..

It was our first time to Berlin. We liked this property's proximity to the Tiergarten, but had not realized prior to booking that it was not particularly close to more sightseeing areas. There were not a lot of restaurant options nearby. Hotel itself was lovely, right on the water. Housekeeping was not great about refilling coffee service daily, and air conditioning was a bit weak - but altogether, was a good stay.

My family of four stayed for three nights in a loft style room with a unique spiral staircase. We found the room to be clean, beds comfortable but the wifi strength was very poor. Our room had a damp odour to it due to an underperforming HVAC system or carpet needing to be cleaned/changed.You could experience a day/night contrast in air quality between the hallway & our room. The lighting in our room could use improvement with pot lights or equivalent. My wife & I enjoyed sitting upstairs in the lobby where there’s complimentary water, plenty of natural lighting.

Please be careful when booking this hotel. After booking what initially appeared to be a reasonably priced hotel I was stung by hidden fees and was charged twice for a 12.5% city tax. Despite numerous phone calls and emails the hotel are refusing to refund any of the fees. I paid over €86 in additional taxes not shown at the time of booking. There is no transparency at booking and this is deceiving customers. Don’t stay here unless you want to pay more than you bargained for!

It was a wonderful 2 night stay. I came to visit from London to see my uncle. The receptionist was wonderful (he worked around 10pm and was an older man) the service was fantastic. Great shower, comfy bed and spacious rooms

Very clean and quiet, close to public transport that takes you everywhere. Room was great, spacious, just the bathroom was a little small and very basic including the towels.

The rooms were very clean. AC worked perfectly. This was the perfect stay for our Berlin experience.

Easy location and excess, great parking, nice view, super friendly staff, good price. We enjoyed it.

Beautifully decorated interiors and a fantastic restaurant. The hotel is a little old, but without asking I would not have noticed. Would love to stay here again.

I was given a smaller room despite booking a double room and paying a higher price for the larger room. When I inquired later the front desk staff said, we gave you a smaller room because you are a single traveller and larger rooms are for more people. Front desk staff (two guys) were rude and unprofessional. The lady (I think Venessa) was good. Even after complaining to the hotel about the issue later, no satisfactory resolution provided. My last email to the hotel on this subject is still unanswered after over a week.

We were pleasantly surprised by our choice of hotel. A 5 star experience all around.

The hotel is beautiful and in a picturesque location along the river. It is within walking distance to the S-train, bus and trams (all easy to use with the BVG app. The lobby is huge with comfortable seating throughout. If you opt for breakfast ($25), there is a nicely appointed dining room with a buffet that has everything you can think of. Wait staff and cooks are excellent. But I opted out on my last day, since the price is a little steep and we were running, so enjoying the meal would have been hard. There is a gym and sauna I didn’t use, but heard was nice. There is a restaurant attached, in the even you want to order room service or a bite or drink without going out. Prices are fair given the location, accommodation and selection. The room I had was a single queen, which was comfortable and the room was beautiful with a view of the river. There is no real AC. It is more like a vent, but propping the window open gave plenty of breeze. I recommend staying here. Great, safe location and excellent accommodations. Price is fair.

Great location wonderful service, wish there was a way to turn down the heat… room was hot, hard to sleep. Thermostat made no difference. Great stay… needed cooler temps to sleep
