Wonderful hotel to stay in

From check-in to check-out, we had a great experience at the Westin. We stayed in a corner king room with a view of the harbor. It was very spacious and comfortable. The heating and cooling system worked well, and the shower was nice with good pressure and hot water. We also used the pool and the hot tub. The hot tub water was not excessively hot, which meant I could stay in it for longer than a few minutes. The pool water temp was refreshing without being cold. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The hotel was convenient for walking all over (we are walkers). We were treating ourselves to a nice getaway (though business-related), so the room cost seemed reasonable. I highly recommend the hotel as a strategic base of operations for exploring this charming city.

Great staff and location

Everything was perfect! Staff Location Room

Got in the elevator, pressed my floor, nothing happened, continued to press my floor and no response. Had to use the open button to get out. Had to use two different sets of stairs to get to the 7th floor. Room was nice but layout did not make sense, tv did not pull out to face the bed it could only be moved a bit to one side. Staff was incredible, very nice and helpful, just wasn't a fan of those two things having a small fear of elevators in the first place

Staff is amazing especially Lee who was the first to greet us when we arrived. So personable and willing to help , such a great feeling to meet someone like him . Lee made us feel like family . Thank you

Excellent

The Westin is a grand old hotel. The beds were super comfy and the staff was so attentive and helpful.

This is not my sort of hotel and seems completely soulless although naturally it is pefect for people on business trips. I noticed that my room dated from a time when it was not considered essential to offer a lot of extra electrical sockets.

We just eat room service Good food friendly service staff soecially the room attendant over all excellent service

A first class hotel attached to the Via Rail statiin for the train to Montreal.

This is the sort of soulless place that I generally avoid at all costs but it corresponded to my needs of the moment.

Excellent breakfast buffet, helpful staff, lovely hot jacuzzi, well located adjacent to the ViaRail station, comfortable bed, nice sized bedrooms, good location all in

Nice stay

Location was close to SuperStore for Water and snacks - they also had a Deli which helped take lunches for day trips. Close to Pier 21 and the Farmers Market. Great location to walk to almost any Pub and the Scotia Centre.

Very much enjoyed the stay.
