The hotel was VERY outdated for a Hampton and was not up to standards for the cost. Rooms were small and bathroom even smaller. Elevator was broken and had to carry luggage to and from 4th floor. Needs a remodel.

I wouldn't recommend this for anyone. Everything is old and dirty at this place and it smelled really bad. The floor is sticky and breakfast options were mediocre at best.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Most of the staff are amazing. Everything went well for our 4 night stay. I didn't realize the problem until a couple days after we checked out. I prepaid for this stay through expedia and of course provided a credit card for incidentals at check in. I looked at my credit card statement and they had charged my card for the stay. I called them and told them i prepaid this room and they charged me again. They said they could not help me and that I needed to contact expedia. Expedia was not the problem, they were. I had no choice but to dispute with the credit card company. I'm very disappointed that they didn't just handle the situation! I will never stay here again as the front desk clerk was completely incompetent.

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bath/shower had some rust in it which didn’t bother me but would be a problem for some. Convenient location. Quiet too. Would stay again.

It was close to University of Michigan, and I got a good rate. However, the bathroom could have been cleaner, the shower leaked water everywhere and the it was very loud in the hallway outside my room at night, laughing, people talking. This was probably because my right off the lobby was outside the lobby which does not make sense.

Hood breakfast, exercise options and reasonable rooms. My smoke alarm went off following a shower, though, and the hotel staff didn't seem to mind the very long and loud beeping at 6:30 am (not enough to do anything, anyway)

Overall the rrom was clean and seemed to be serviced by housekeeping well. The issue was with my booking an executive suite king bed sofa and receiving a standard room double full size bed. Inquired at check in about the mix up and was simply told they didnt have any exec suites left and that was what was available. I essentially overpaid 40 dollars a night for 2 nights the downgraded room.
