When I arrived immediately noticed the place was a bit rundown. Checkin was okay for the most part. I hit the button for the elevator to go up to my room and nothing. It took me a second to realize that you have to really push hard on that button for it to work. Minor detail but a hint at how things were going to go. When I got to my room and began unpacking my stuff I realized there was no toilet paper in the room. No big deal, I’ll call down to the front desk and have them bring some up. I also noticed it was over 80 degrees in the room. It’s not uncommon for hotels to leave the AC off when nobody was in the room so I wasn’t worried, yet. I went to the thermostat to turn the AC on and the fan made a god awful noise and shut off. So far I’ve got no toilet paper and no AC. So I grab the phone to call down to the front desk. Guess what … the phone was broken. So I went down to the front desk and reported these issues. They said they’d send someone right up with toilet paper and have maintenance come by to look at the AC. I waited about 45 minutes and nobody came by. So I went to dinner and told the front desk that they’re more than welcome to enter the room to handle those issues. When I returned there was toilet paper and I could hear the fan for the HVAC running. However it was just the fan, I never got AC. The fan sounded god awful the whole time and didn’t work on the high setting, it would just shut off. Also the room was dirty, not horribly but needed a vacuum badly.

An old hotel showing signs of age. The restaurant/bar is not at all relaxing and doesn't really have any friendly ambience. I found the overall decor to be depressingly brown, in marked contrast to the sunny ambience of Albuquerque. Also, these days, hotels shouldn't really charge $5 per day for internet, which doesn't work well in the room. It's a bit like charging for electricity. No breakfast buffet for non-VIPS. Instead you get a voucher with a choice of two things. It was nicely prepared and good value. The rooms are spacious, but dark. Comfy bed. It's very close to the airport, which is its main redeeming feature. OK for a night, but I won't be rushing back.

Filthy carpet in room, restaurant understaffed. The hotel has gone down mightily - no more free parking for travelers. 4.25 for wi-fi! Staff was kind and competent but the place is a mess.

I’ve stayed at this place before and it was very nice. Went back for the second time and it didn’t go so well lot of noise. Air conditioner wasn’t working wasn’t able to be transferred to a different room, but the staff was really actually very caring for the most part

Have stayed there often. They do need more than two elevators.

I loved the room, bathroom was separate from the sink and hair dryer. The bar and restaurant was excellent. The food was wonderful My husband had the trout ... yummy. We we're able to keep our car there while we were on vacation for a couple of day.. The shuttle service was on time and picked us up when we came back. 5 stars for sure

I loved the LT Lounge really nice and friendly staff. I also enjoyed the quick response for a shuttle to airport. The building needs updating. Not a big concern for an overnight stay.

The room I booked and paid for was not available upon check in, and upon the staff giving me their “club”perks which included breakfast as a compensation for giving my room away, the next morning it wasn’t available where they said it would be. The fire alarm went off for about an hour on and off also after we arrived. One of the worst stays at a hotel I’ve had.

Stayed in a currently renovated room. The room was clean, but the tub did not drain while you took a shower. The ice machine was broken. The staff were friendly and professional.

Back in the day, what’s now the Sheraton ABQ Airport was a Wyndham hotel with design and amenities matching its Southwest location. Now it appears to be run by a faceless corporation that wants to take money out and put none in. After acquiring the hotel, Sheraton did put money into replacing its stylish Southwest furnishings with bland, undistinguished ones. Now it apparently skimps on upkeep. In our room (216): (1) the entry light didn’t work; (2) the carpet was so old and badly worn that I thought at first its remaining bizarre patterns were stains; (3) the in-room air quality was so bad, perhaps due to micro particles from the aged carpet, that I had to use an N-95 mask to sleep; (4) the aircon, when on, sounded like a freight train; and (5) the windows didn’t open. IMHO, this hotel needs serious maintenance and is living on a “captive audience” of flight crews. That said, the restaurant staff (Edwina & Deborah) were friendly and helpful,

The hotel is under renovation. First we had an unrenovated room and could not get the cold fan to turn off but the accommodating staff transferred us to a very nice renovated room which was satisfactory.
