A lovely comfy room so heavenly hearing San Simeon surf.

Summer, Spring, Fall and Winter the best place on San Simeon Beach. Reasonable, convenient rooms and the Pacific a walk away. A favorite with wonderful staff support.

It is a good place to stay. The Lodge needs to upgrade the furniture and carpets in the rooms. Other than that, everything is clean and in working order. The staff are pleasant and nice.

Water heater needs to be turned up- shower was warm only.

Really big room for two beds. Place was clean and quiet at night.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom sink and tub were a little worn out, but everything worked fine. Had a great ocean view. Great location. Close to numerous beaches, shopping, restaurants, and Hearst Castle.

Great location. Comfy beds. A bit noisy/thin walls and ceiling with loud upstairs neighbors walking around, but the market and liquor store and bar onsite was convenient.

Overall, this place is good, not great.

This was a quick over night stay located near the Hearst Castle. It was a decent property and a great value.

Perfect location it took us like 2 minutes to walk to the beach. The lodge property was super clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating and there's a market right at the hotel with everything you'll need. Room was clean and comfy. Very quiet and peaceful my family and I had zero complaints about our stay we'll definitely be back.

The room was good just to stay and sleep. The screen door was broken and the place looked run down, the chairs in the room were old and worn out.

This hotel is a bit dated. It’s nothing special but was clean and located across the street from the ocean.

Perfect for a one night stay.

I loved the fact that it had beautiful ocean views, and we loved that we had the ability to leave our window open to hear the surf. A better showerhead wouldn't hurt! While the food was good at the restaurant, it was a bit overpriced which allowed us to go to Cambria to eat on the other days we were there. Overall, the food was good, and the stay was great!

This was a quick trip from so cal to Cambria, to drop off Christmas gifts to family. The lodge was decent and clean. Furniture and decor was dated, but for the location and price it is a good deal. Restaurant on property was excellent, will stay again.

Beautiful area! Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Several restaurants very close. You can lie in bed and listen to the ocean or watch from the window. I love this area of the Central Coast!

Location to Hearst Castle and the views off PCH are great. The bed was creaky and the property could use a major update from circa 1990s. Overall, was clean… BEWARE- Peeping Tom walking around back of property looking into bathroom window. I caught him and reported to front desk who “looked into it”. I proceeded to report to the San Luis Obispo Sheriff Department who came to check the area. Tall 6’2 male, dirty blonde hair in mid 20’s.

Staff was friendly. Food in the restaurant and the drinks were good. Rooms are well-appointed.
