The place is great with the view , close to old town walking distance. Nice Breakfast ! Only thing not ok is the smell , I stayed just for a night in small room on 1st floor, I can smell bad pipe or something bad like stinky smell. I just tried to sleep a a night so didn’t want to complain or change the room. I don’t know is it only my room that near the toilet pipe or something. Overall , great place to stay. Good experience!! View from the small window hole is so beautiful!

That was, quite literally, the smallest bathroom I have ever seen! But I knew what I signed up for and the ambiance made up for it. Plus, the breakfast was AMAZING!

This was such a cute property! It was an old yacht, once owned by socialite Barbara Hutton. I read up on her once I got there. Interesting, yet sad life. The rooms were nice, the windows gave plenty of fresh air. I could hear the waves lapping against the ship at night, and there were pretty lights across the river, including the big red heart at Lejontrappan! I walked everywhere because the location was so perfect. The staff went out of their way a few times for me. I highly recommend this fun yacht/hotel!

This is a wonderful, quirky place to stay in Stockholm. Very close to Gamla Stan which was great. The ship has lots of interesting history and art deco features. Food in restaurant was excellent !

Built in 1924, this was once the world's largest yatch, but has been converted into a floating hotel. We thought this was a very unique experience and we enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Extremely convenient to Stockholm's Old City (Gamla Stan). Easy walk to the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral, the Swedish Parliment, Stockholm City Hall, Central Station, and many other sights, shops, restaurants, places of interest and public transit. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. I would highly recommend staying onboard when in Stockholm. Only 2 minor negatives: 1.) The property description says laundry facilites are available. This gave me the impression they had washers and dryers onboard for guest use. They do not. Only an off-ship laundry pickup service which is expensive in Stockholm. One of our priorities in choosing a hotel is the availability of self-laundry service. I'm glad we stayed here, but I likely would have chosen differently if I correctly understood the laundry service situation. The owners should update/clarify that properly in the Property Description. 2.) The bathroom door in our cabin (217) is VERY squeaky; needs lubricating.

This location is perfect for dinner, coffee, or drinks. Beautiful dining area and well located. The rooms, however, are terrible. The stairs to the various rooms are difficult to maneuver with luggage so my daughter took the elevator and ended up being stuck/trapped for some time. The shower floor in our room had water oozing from beneath the tile (we had not yet used the shower), the room was so small that we could not comfortably be in it together, a board running from above the bottom bunk added additional obstruction to head space, and the entire set up of the rooms was labyrinthine. We ended up paying for a night despite leaving and finding accommodation elsewhere. The on site staff were lovely.

The old boat was unique for sure. I was glad to spend most of my time outside the boat. Yacht is too big name for it. There was no coffee maker in the room, practically there was nothing to make me feel welcome. If i wanted a cup of coffee or tea I'd to buy it. So, that hotel was big mistake on my part.

It’s a good value for the price. A nice location. Can sometimes hear creeks and walking above you but overall wasn’t a big deal and was happy for the price. It’s very clean and workers are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet and views were excellent! Would consider staying there again.

Heating system didn't work, it was really cold to be in the room during the day and night. It is an old ship, so wooden furniture is dilapidated. I found hairs and stains from previous visitors on the extra blanket in the closet, so I think that these items are not cleaned regularly. It was difficult to adjust the water in the shower - it was either extremely hot or cold Cleaning stuff passive aggressively did the job - sometimes emptying the bins, sometimes not. It seemed like the staff was tasked with spying on whether anyone was making a takeaway breakfast sandwich.

Very nice! Old boat and small rooms but that is expected. The breakfast was so yummy and the bar and lounge were gorgeous and totally updated. Beds were comfy and clean. Also easy check in, the top deck was definitely the highlight.

I travelled with my son and we had a really good stay here. The hotel was clean, the location fabulous and all the staff were really friendly. As can be expected on a ship, the cabins were a little cramped, but I do recommend this hotel.

This is a unique stay in a fabulous city. The staff were kind and most accommodating. Of note (these are things to expect) that add to the charm of this stay. The yacht/boat is almost 100 years old, expect some normal wear. The renovations done recently have done well to update the setting. There is a lift for luggage. If you are in a party of 2 or more, don't lug your items up the gangway/walkway to reception. One person can check-in, while the other waits at the door immediately off the paved walkway, and bring the luggage through the door on ground level. There is going to be noise and light at night time, it's a city, you are staying on a boat that boasts over 50 rooms. Bring a sleeping masking and ear plugs. Those 2 items are crucial for travel regardless of your choice in lodging. The breakfast offerings were outstanding. The restaurant food was divine, as was the view to enjoy while dining. Another guest review complained about staff eating in the same location as the guests. How disheartening it is that someone could be bothered by such a thing. We were pleased to share our space with the staff. The location was a less then 10 minute walk from the commuter train stop at Gamla Stan. You can leave your luggage for free there before and after check-in/check-out. There are plenty of shops and eateries nearby. Bottomline, would stay again!
