Very nice location in the middle

dejligt hotel, ikke prangende, men hvor vi føler os hjemme. Vi elsker Ålborg og har benyttet Phønix mange gange

Old hotel, with lot of stairs and one single elevator that seems to be from before WW1…No air-conditioning which made it extremely hot in the room and almost impossible to sleep. Guess it’s not a problem during winter, but it sure is during summer. Tv in the room, but only 2 channels.., Average breakfast. Central location and parking was easy.

A really nice, centrally located hottel in Aalborg. Feels very familiar and down-to-earth while having hight service and friendly staff. Very clean and nice place.

Et dejligt hotel, og det var 2 gang vi besøgte det, denne gang med barnebarn i stegende hede, vi kunne godt have brugt noget air-condition, men sådan er det med ældre hoteller. Vier et par oppe i 70-erne, så minsandten havde sat pris på at der kun havde været en brusekabine i stedet for at skulle kravle op i et badekar. Alt i alt har vi dog været tilfredse og igen nydt at gå turen op til ZOO

Great breakfast. Was excited to stay at Phoenix again as that is an old favourite with great memories for me, I always used to find it very nice and with a premium feel, hence chose it now. It feels aged and the wall to wall carpet was loose at many points and the overall feeling was not fresh and how I used to find it 10 years ago. Great staff and wonderful breakfast though

Its a good hotel with central place in town It’s clean Staff is nice

Not the best hotel. It is old and you can see this clearly. Unfortunately we got a room where we could not open the window - not even a bit and the room was so hot and with bad air. Location of the hotel is perfect but that is also the only positive thing we have to say.

TV not working, and not fixed after notification to reception. Room not made/cleaned up for second day.

Very helpful and friendly people at the front desk

We paid for 2 days and we only could use 1 day because it was full. That happened many people. The room wa sold and bad. Shower coould water. No ventilation . No.place in breakfast hall. Not good

The room did not get cleaned once (we stayed Thursday-sunday). When we asked about it they explained that they were fully booked so they had to prioritize some rooms. The hallways and common areas were not properly cleaned as well.
