The Penn State decor is unique and fun. The location is good, right on the edge of campus and town. I did not like the "resort" fee charged at the end of the stay. This is nothing but an added tax with absolutely no benefit to the guest.

I don’t have time in the morning to wait 10 minutes and watch understaffed employees running around to charge for a basic coffee. What happened to complimentary self serve coffee?

Location was great, but the property entrance was hard to find. In room coffee was a packet of instant - I haven't had that in many years, and still don't like it.

It was quite clean, and the beds were comfortable

The hotel room had a terrible smell, possibly from the air conditioning. The property needs to be refreshed.

In general, I am a big fan of The Graduate hotel properties and have been to several. This one is my least favorite. I probably would not have written a negative review, however, if not for the incredibly lame coffee set up in the morning. The sole pot of coffee is inexplicably held hostage behind the bar in the trophy room by a person who cannot multitask and is easily distracted. Why not simply let guests serve themselves at the breakfast bar? Frustrating and a bad experience at a hotel that is usually a nice place to hang out. Instead, we couldn’t wait to get back on the road. Also, this hotel could benefit from a nicer bar.

Traveled for my daughter's graduation. Very nice place.

Cute themed hotel but the elevators were a little dark, slow.

Did not like the parking. Vehicles too close together. Eooms were nice

Loved it! Perfect location and very comfortable. I was able to get a nice to go breakfast and latte from the restaurant onsite too.

In this case, the "Graduate" format seems like a mostly unsuccessful attempt to update a shabby old property. Nice try, but this place has seen its day.

The hotel is cute, the ambiance is great. The room is very spacious and beds are comfortable and room was clean. The only complaint I have is the on night lamp next to the bed was not plugged in and not working when I plugged it in. The other night lamp had an outlet, I plugged in my phone charger and it sparked. Beside those issues it was a great overnight stay.

Booked here because the room description indicated there was an in-room refrigerator and microwave. (This is important to us because one of the travelers has special dietary needs that we plan for!) NEITHER was in our room. One elevator didn’t operate correctly. Otherwise, good.
