Staff was very friendly. 2 restaurants on property with room service available. Easy, free parking. Room decide cute and comfortable beds. Can hear other rooms, however, but maybe because we had a connecting room door. Train comes by and has to sound horn at every intersection. Just so you know. Easy to walk downtown from this location and puts you on the road straight to Keyrstone and easy access to 90.

Very clean hotel. Comfortable and nice staff. Breakfast was not worth it.Powdered eggs and cold cereal all you can eat of course but at 18.00 pp a rip off also no ice water out front in lobby unless you pay for it. For a full service hotel please put some ice water with lemon in the lobby and some hot coffee for free. Like the new hotels do.

Breakfast buffet was available due to tour groups staying there. Also you could order off the menu. Great location. Near other restaurants. Downtown. Clean. Bar in house. But room service ended at 9am. The buffet was okay, better than some.

Excellent location with nice facilities. Rapid City is an easily walkable area. There is a scavenger hunt utilizing the statues of the presidents. Great for kids and adults too. Very nice visitor center.

There was no fridge, staff seemed uninterested, exterior of hotel was unattractive, hotel and rooms seemed old and needed updating. There were no drawers/dresser.

Clean, spacious room. Black-out shades didn't make the room as dark as I like.

Great location, walkable to downtown which is why I stayed here because I did not rent a car for my trip. I ate the breakfast buffet one morning and it was just okay but not bad for $14. I took a Lyft from the airport to the hotel but was able to get an early morning shuttle to the airport for only $10. While I was not traveling with a group tour, I noticed this hotel was a meeting spot for many motor coach tours where guests were in the lobby every morning, waiting on the departure of the buses. I must say the bed was very comfortable for me because I like soft mattresses, and I think this is the only hotel I've ever stayed at that did not have down pillows which are not preferable for me anyway! I slept very well despite the noises that I heard from outside, including the nearby train and the lightest rainfall sounded like hail against the windows. The windows were not soundproof at all. The room was average/ fine, but the bathrooms could use an upgrade. There is vinyl tile on the walls in the shower and yellowed shower curtains, along with a finicky hot water temperature adjustment. Rooms do not include mini fridge so I couldn't take my leftover pizza from dinner. Overall, my stay was pleasant.

Expensive for a so-so room. Noisy and intermittent hot water. On a positive note, the lobby and restaurant were beautiful. Food was very good.

The room is loud. A train blows its horn right outside the hotel. One of the panes in the window is cracked and taped back together. The office there is torn up from excessive wear. The paint on the door is worn off in multiple areas. The bathtub is tiny.
