It was simply wonderful: Nice room with a fantastic view. Everything perfect.

Nice hotel located only 5 min walk to the center. Staff at the reception is very nice and we had a fast check-in. Breakfast is really good, the staff is polite and they keep the restaurant clean at all times. The room we had was on 18 floor with a lot of light into the room - really nice. However the day of the check-out the elevators did not work, so we along with many other guests had to walk down the emergency exit, which was a horrible experience. No instructions from the hotel so some guests ended up in the kitchen area others ran to find some exits - that should have been handled much better from the hotel. Elderly people did not have a chance to get down.

Got a free upgrade, first time ever when using Hotels.com. Helpful staff, everyone greated us - fast check out.

Be aware that you should only share a room in this hotel, if you are very intimate. There’s a window between the bedroom and the bathroom. They have added blinders for privacy, but you control them from the bedroom - not the bathroom. You have to share a king sized duvet and if you ask for two single duvets, they will tell you, that they’ll bring them to your room, but they won’t. Breakfast: They don’t ask you to book a specific timeslot for breakfast, but if you choose the wrong time, they will tell you off and roll their eyes. (The wrong time is between 9 and 10) The view is amazing, though. And it’s a perfect location next to the station and the park and you can walk to everything.

Room was very nice and big. Everything was in order. Location was quite ok.. close to train-stations.

Unfortunately I do not share the same positivenes over this hotel as the ratings suggest. Worst of all is the front desk personel. We engaged with two different individuals, and they acted like they would rather be somewhere else. Breakfast buffet is good with a broad selection of things. Our beds were hard as a rock, and pillows way to soft. The gym has new Technogym machines. That's positive. We paid twice for our parking... Once in the hotel parking machine, and then again when leaving the parking area, as the areas are divided into areas. I asked about this at the reception, but they said nothing about that. So now I have to claim a refund...

Had the panorama room on 27th floor absolutely amazing view although we preferred to be in the actual city ;-) great staff great food great bar Amazing pianist as well. New “default” when visiting Hamborg
