Great location

Very basic. Dirt in the bath and old toilet room with no toilet brush. No aircon or way to cool the room down except asking for a fan. Staff were friendly and helpful but this was a poor experience compared to other city Novotel hotels.

Room was fairly basic but quite big. Was warm and no air con so had to have windows open and it was noisy until very late at night. The staff were excellent and very quickly found something I had left behind in the room and the breakfast was also very good.

Lovely, friendly and very helpful staff. Room was spotless and breakfast was excellent. Good choices and vegetarian options. Highly, highly recommend this hotel and would 100% stay again.

Hotel staff were great and very helpful when approached. Only down side was that some of the electrical switches and plugs were showing their age. The bed side light did not work and there was only one free socket in the room. The bar area was very nice and great for a chill out. Overall good hotel for the value.

Bar closes too early when an event is happening. 11:30pm is unacceptable! Wifi on both networks cannot manage Zoom meetings, so not a good hotel if you want to work. There is no air conditioning, just a some other older cooling system, that cannot cope. On the plus side, the food was really good at the bar restaurant.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a nice surprise to be upgraded from the room I had originally booked. Room was clean and spacious. Location is good - it is a few minutes walk from the centre of Birmingham and plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice.

Very nice stay recently , excellent, secure on site car park , friendly staff and an excellent breakfast - what’s not to like.

Woken early hours of Sunday morning by shouting people… state of room was terrible

The breakfast was really good and the staff were so friendly. The bathroom doors near the reception were not closing properly. Overall, the room was clean and room service excellent. I loved ❤️ the hotel soo much. I loved the breakfast it was amazing 👏

Super hotel and staff so helpful and friendly. Stayed with our kids and dog and will definitely use this hotel when back in Birmingham!

Probably the worst Novotel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms are in real need of renovation. Good central location.

Great location for Utilita. Room a bit dated but very clean. Was on 5th floor but could hear traffic noises. Staff all lovely. Breakfast great.

Perfect place to stay if you just want somewhere to rest your head however the rooms amenities didn’t work, the bed was very uncomfortable and general aesthetic of the room was dated. overall the hotels reception and bar area are very nice but the rooms and the almost £20 a day parking charge let it down!

Perfect place to stay after a concert at the Utilita. Literally just 5-10 minute walk with some lovely restaurants nearby.

Clean, but slightly older, room. Odd toilet layout. However was spacious. Nice bed. Good desk for working. Comfortable stay.

Clean room good clean facilities everything in good working order first time using this hotel used for my daughters first concert

The doors in the room did not shut or lock to be able to shower or be separate from room for privacy
